I just picked up this same guitar (sunburst version) and I totally love it!!! It is a complete upgrade from my 2008 American Standard, and the tones of the N3 pickups are amazing, I am a happy man!

Thanks for a review of a guitar that is not biased to rock/distortion. Love the skill, tone, and humor! Lol

Greg, love your videos man! You're a riot! Your character adds a touch of comedy that makes your videos that much more enjoyable. When I someday make it out to CO, to visit my wife's family, I will be sure to drag her to the Wildwood store. P.S. I love my Am. Dlx. Aged CB, maple fb, but I go back and forth with the N3's. Considering dropping in some CS Texas Specials, changing the S-1 out in favor of a 4-way blade in a Rock Rabbit plate, and reversing the controls. Don't know if you're familiar with Rock Rabbit, but if not, check 'em out.

This guy makes me want to take my guitar out of its case, wipe it off real good, then promptly walk outside and chunk it in the nearest trash can from my lack of ability. Seriously though... I love his reviews with Wildwood and Sweetwater. Very descriptive and helps the viewers gain a better overall understanding on each specific guitar sound and function. Thanks man!

I'm interested, I wonder if there is a model that has these features plus the thinline single f hole?

I've made the same question before and they answered: "It's always a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and a Fulltone OCD pedal." The same information can be found in the Wildwood website.

I don't hear any difference between the tone of the deluxe and the standard. I really dig the standard. Rock on!
@jljones52828 жыл бұрын
the difference is minimal, but it certainly is there. you would probably here it better if you heard it in person :)

I don't know man.. That amp sounds pretty good to me. And at 40 watts, it sounds better at low volumes than those 80 watt plus Marshalls, Twins and Dumbles. Those amps are amazing but they're for large venues and won't do themselves or the instruments much justice turned down to 2 or 3. That's just my opinion.

Please stop with the Hot Rod Deluxes! You have a ton of amps right next to it that sounds a LOT bettter! Usually if there is a guitarsound on a record or a demo that I really can't stand, or just sounds really awful, it often turns out to be the Hot Rod amp. You have a freakin Special Overdrive(!!) right behind you along with beautiful Marshall's and the mighty Twin Reverb! why use the shittiest cheapest amp you have, to ruin all the demos??
