The Elites are just awesome! Fender, like Gibson hasn’t been doing a noteworthy job on their higher end instruments in my opinion. And I’ve played 100s if them. But with Elites It’s like Fender said; what would happen if we just did everything right! I don’t know why anyone would go the money on and American when for about $200 more you get virtual perfection!

Love the S-1 switch, so many variations for a two pickup guitar. Greg you are the Ax master. Great demo. This is my next guitar.

I had a few initial issues to take care of but now its my fav go to guitar for rock n blues. The fretboard to me was sharp so I rolled it. The high E kept popping out so I had to remove the thingie on the string guide so it was just the U shaped piece and bottomed out. Solved. I replaced the pickguard and in the process the broke microscopic bobbin wire from the neck pu to the eyelet. Impossible to fix and at the time impossible to find the new N4? pickups. Lucked up and found one. Be very careful mucking with the neck pu and the wire is frail. I do not use the S1 switch as in my experience they are not well designed and WILL fail and are a pita to replace. Thats said, the neck and the sounds you can get out of the Elite are incredible.

I love Cherry Sunburst; the guitar is beautiful. Saw one in my store the other day but can't justify the price. Tbh the Nashville Deluxe has all this has, other than having a strat pickup instead of standard tele middle position in a guitar thats less than half the price. Under the hood, the electronics/pots on the elite might be better quality though, also can't put the Pu's in series. At Half the price point though... this doesn't seem worth the extra money to me. You could do most of the mods yourself on a nashville and it would be less expensive.But I'm kinda leaning more towards something with saddles, and I'd rather have tele middle position than a strat middle pu.

The neck on these guitars is what sets them apart. If you're a tele fan you need both, the Nashville tele is a completely different instrument. The elite is a guitar that you can go from metal to shred to jazz with no change in the setup, just using the volume and s1. The Nashville is a guitar that you can cover every rock or country sound needed on a gig without bringing a strat. That middle pickup strat tone is very nice. All that being said and owning both plus a standard, a mim player series, and a G&L asat classic, the elite is most definitely worth the money and is top of the mark for Fender production models. I'm a tele fanatic to the bone. If you're just wanting a screaming tele, buy a player series drop in a vintage style bridge with some pure vintage 64 pickups, you'll be well under a grand and have a tele that rips

tele跟strato的最大區別就是tele middle段可以彈出hitomi honda的聲音!但是彈不出nako的聲音！要彈出nako的鼻音ㄧ定要strato第四段音色才彈得出來！這也是我毫不考慮tele的原因！

nako聲音有點亮有點尖友點清脆有點甜家上特色鼻音但是多些水分！tele middle的音色脆是有乾淨輕量也是有！但聲音太乾了！因此不像nako的聲音！

Hey! Our clean sound is from a Tone King Imperial, where as the distorted sound is a Friedman Smallbox 50. Both cabs are miked with Sennheiser MD409s, and a Schoeps MK4 is blended in with the distorted tone in order to capture the huge girth of the Friedman! Hope this helps.

I love the way this elite feels. It's the perfect guitar in that aspect. however, anyone think the professional sounds more lively? maybe it's the noisless pickups missing that telecaster tone.

Have you compared to Player'a Baja Tele? It has the S1 switching and a nice baseball bat neck, for what, $750 or so? I have one and love it--but you know, one can never have too many Telecasters.
