Quite refreshing for the person demoing the new axe to NOT dive straight into blistering SRV runs up & down the fretboard. This is how I try out a new guitar; a few chords, finger style, some strumming- gently & respectfully getting into the vibe of the wood and actually listening to what it has to say.

I swear to god I've watched three or four of your videos assuming that this would be a +100.000 subs channel. Just checked it out and you're not even into 500s. Completely unfair, absolutely great quality!!! Keep It going man, you deserve thousands more and I'm pretty sure you'll get them. Great playing and a new subscriber! Cheers from Spain 🎸

I think pine offers a bit more of that bright, sparkly fifties sound. Been playing 60+ years and I have no problem with Fender making guitars out of pine.

Just ordered mine , can’t wait for that jewel to arrive. I ordered it with a maple fretboard.

Just got mine. And it does sound great. No strap though? Fender used to include a strap on all american models. Other than that. Best strat I've owned. Rock on bro!

How is the guitar? How does it feel to play? How many strats have you owned in your years of playing?
@jamesnorton7601 Жыл бұрын
@@SiddharthKarunakaran quite a few. 2 American and at least 5 Mexican. The neck is worth 500 bucks alone. Light guitar body weight wise. Feels like a strat. It is one. I'm selling mine for 1300. I have other guitars, and want something new. It's a nice guitar if you want an American made strat.

Even the Contemporary Squiers have roasted maple neck/fingerboards. At this price I also would like a compound radius fingerboard.
@toddwilliamson2651 Жыл бұрын
Then you want an Ultra not an Am Pro. There are FSR models with roasted maple, I personally dont like roasted maple that much it looks cool and feels great but it adds more brightness to a guitar that does not need to be any brighter IMHO. I had an Ultra and I hated the compound radius btw its not for everybody and I would consider myself a shreddy type player.

Amongst all this playing and talking about this guitar and nobody considers how important the right hand dynamics are. Thanks for offering yet another style. I already have the same model and it is very sensitive not only to how you play it, but where you attack the strings.
