No they aren't. There is a classic vibe Squire but the Fender Classic vibes came out a few years back, made in Mexico and designed by some of the custom shop guys. So 50s 60s and 70s but with modern neck radius, 2 point trems and locking tuners etc...

Sick playing Captain Jack Sparrow. I love your reviews. I watch them all the time. Yo ho yo ho a guitarists life for me. For real though l, I have this guitar, and it is amazing. I never thought having the neck and bridge together would be so great sounding, but it is. Beautiful guitar. Mine is the Miami blue as well. I’ve never really been a strat guy but this one is changing my mind on them little by little. The contoured heel joint alone is making it worth it. Edit: I put the blender mod and custom shop Texas special pickups on mine. It roars now! Didn’t care much for the push push and with the blender I can shoes how much neck pickup I want not just full neck pickup.

I have this guitar and everything is great except a couple of things. The finish on the edges of the fretboard are chipping off and I have about 6 high frets that I need to fix. Fender could do a lot better in the fret job area so you don’t have to level and crown a $1700 guitar but I still love it.

Get a good amp or modeler if that is your thing. Bad amps sound bad, guitars at many price points sound good, good guitar + bad amp = bad sounds. There is nothing wrong with getting a Mexican made or Chinese made ‘Fender’. Good amps also hold their price point better. You don’t need tons of wattage but get a good amp. Buy used if you can you get better bang for your buck, find a mom and pop shop to trust in even if you buy at a big box store. Good luck!

As soon as possible, get a real teacher, to have person to person guitar lessons. I know there’s a pandemic and for the moment getting a guitar teacher will be hard, and I also know there’s nothing wrong with learning from KZbin or other online lessons websites, but having a real teacher will teach you something I’ve seen many drop out guitarists lacked: discipline, constance and responsability. Just my two cents bro

I brought the american professional jazzmaster dk knight last winter and I have to say it's my favourite of all mu guitars. I love the Kurt Cobain Jaguar too. I recently brought the Fender KC Jagstang too which I love but I think my next guitar is gonna be the American pro11 strat. Just not sure to go for the HSS or the traditional SSS config? I think I'm leaning towards the HSS in sunburst or mercury grey. Maybe the Sienna sunburst? That finish is beautiful.⭐

Well the JM has JM pickups,and both the Cobain models have humbuckers in the bridge. So I would go sss so you have something with a single coil in the bridge.

Its sound a bit thin and tinny when played clean,, Could be the low action, floating two point tremolo system with a thin colled roll steel block, and a set of factory 9-42 strings.. Older strats with a set of 10-46, 6 point tremolo,, and a large steel block sounds fatter when clean.

Doesn’t sound great to me in this demo. However, you need to take that with a grain of salt, as I’ve heard it sounding great in other demos. So much depends upon the amp and mic’ ing.
