She’s the reason I bought that Yamaha she plays in the video. It’s the best guitar under $2K. It’s her live guitar. Fender paid a lot of Japanese musicians to run these ads. Even bands that play completely different brands from Fender.

@@moustachio334 yeah it looks like nowadays every japanese artist is endorsed by fender.
@moustachio3343 жыл бұрын
@@karnimgx Fender japan were FGN built so I wouldn’t blame them however I think they aren’t anymore. Most of my favorite guitarists in Japan play a mix of everything but it’s those type of guitarists that are enticed and paid by Fender to be in these companies and then you see them in studio rocking a Gibson, Freedom, Altero, Schecter, Rickenbacker, ESP, Yamaha, Ibanez, vintage lawsuit guitars etc. Rei was in one of these ads and Rei plays everything. It’s a good business strategy by Fender and I can’t flaw them for it but it’s misleading to new guitarists. Fender will always be the “standard” meaning they will always be the mediocre choice and if you wanted more it was cheap to modify. That was back when they were much cheaper than MusicMan and Gibson. I don’t want to spend $1700 on a USA Fender then another $200-300 swapping out parts. It’s really sad that I can now buy a fully equipped MusicMan that plays perfectly out of the box but I can’t afford a Fender USA strat
As always, Yumiki-san seems great to me. I love his affable spirit, his quality and technique as a guitarist. And although my favorite is the Fender Jaguar, that beautiful Jazzmaster in her hands, it sounds incredible.

Doesn’t fender make guitars in Japan? Are they not premium or base models (like the Mexican fenders here? Just wondering because I’m an American who like to play Japanese made guitars 😆
@waldalwahsh78334 жыл бұрын
They are premium, dare i say a different cut from the rest, they are made according to japanese spec,so each japanese fender is most certainly different from their american counterparts,with different wiring and parts special to their maker. TL:DR Mexican Fenders are made to be cheap and mass produced,american fenders are made for the quality, and the japanese fenders are with their own special character,made with variety and quality in mind.
