Love the sound of it unplugged, also don't mind the plugged in sound either, though it sounds almost identical to a very clean electric honestly. I'm sure some fiddling with the eq can fix that. Liked the demo Rob.

Yeah plugged in I was using a amp simulator not an acoustic amp so definitely could sound a lot better

All my guitars have blemishes on them - most done by me - so I don't mind buying s/h with blemishes as long as no structural damage. This one sounded better unplugged - too much treble and mids plugged in ? Still think I prefer the electric style neck on the other .

The pre amp is not the best on this model much better on the newer model with the fishman pre amp, the Sonoran is awesome plays much better too

I've noticed you've reviewed this and the sonoran, which do you prefer of the two? I'm buying a new acoustic and want a fairly thin neck. Do you think I'm better looking at something other than a fender? I know they aren't overly popular...

The sonoran is awesome for the price range I don't think you'll find a better acoustic for the money, nice thin neck feels like a Strat neck

Yep. I have this model. Had it since 2011 and have played literally thousands upon thousands of hours on it. Compared to something like a Taylor or Martin, it’s sounds like a cardboard piece of shit. its held up well through 8 years of abuse tho.
