One of the reasons I got this bass (left handed, too!). I'm a big fan of Fender, especially the Japanese ones, they're great value for money! Got one used for like 500$. It's a "do whatever, play anything" kind of bass, from Swing to Thrash - it's great!

I have a 2012 MIJ '62 Reissue in 3 tone sunburst with a dark brown tortoiseshell pickguard. Red tortoiseshell also looks lovely on these bad bitches. Great demo!

I bought a white 1993 MIJ Jazz Bass at a pawn shop for $238 a few years ago. It's a little banged up but it is kind of cool. Looks like a well used and loved 27 year old instrument. Honest, not a Relic.

Is this bass any good for metal? I would like to pair it with a Tech 21 Paradriver D.I. V2 and a Fender Rumble 100. I play mostly with fingers but also a lot with different Dunlop plecks. Thank you in advance!

It should be good, it has a lot of cut. I'd imagine it can make itself heard through even the most distorted of guitars. That or it completely gets lost in the mix lmao. You should try it though.

I play SlipKnot and Disturbed on mine, so nothing super heavy like *Towards Babylon* by *Behemoth* for example. I'd say it's pretty good. Mine has been fitted with USA Pickups though. Apparently it's known as a '62 re-issue MIJ Jazz Bass *Hybrid*
