On Jimi's original Monterey Strat, the flower on the top left of his guitar is yellow not red. Take a look at some of the photos of Jimi playing it and you will see the difference!

bought this thing in April, 2018, put NYXL 10's on it and absolutely love the thing. The only downside is having to remove the neck for truss rod adjustments. But the thing is AMAZING

Have Guitar just get it in 3 payments of 300. Bought a Fender and a Gibson that way. Now my wall of guitars looks more epic with those two beauties. Definitely considering getting one of these Jimi strats or a tele.

Have Guitar no shame in guitars being too expensive for someone. I've been there. But for people serious about making the payments in 3-6 months, website stores like Zzounds, Americanmusical, and Sweetwater will send you the guitar on the first payment and no credit check. Like I said before, done this with two guitars already. Still a great way to get a 1000 dollar or more guitar rather than just dishing the money on it all out at once.

Yeah, it's a great paint job but on the older version (I believe last year or the year before) they did put in Vintage '65 Pickups in the Hendrix Strat. These are just the vintage style Strat pickups. As for the Rosewood, the companies will pay through the nose to export the rosewood and it'll mainly be on guitars that are extremely pricey. Pao Ferro has been used for years. To be honest, you really can't tell the difference in sound with the neck wood (I know this will start an argument) but it definitely plays differently. Even the SRV Strat that Fender put out had a Pao Ferro fretboard.

Classic Fender....make a Hendrix tribute guitar, go so far as to include the wild hand-painting on the body and include a 7.25" neck radius (they, ironically, left this detail out of all other Hendrix models), but leave the headstock and bridge pickups the same. It sounds fantastic, but then again so does everything that Greg plays! Lol

The only thing that is anything about Hendrix with this guitar might be the paint job. Headstock and bridge pickup aren’t reversed. Whammy bar would need to be on top of the bridge. But you sounded good.
