I just bought this guitar today! I didn’t realize it was so cool 😎 or even a brand new model until I watched your video! I don’t know a lot about guitars & have always had pretty cheap used guitars. I am not super awesome at playing but I wanted a nicer sounding guitar to get better on. I loved the Clash growing up but had no idea until I got home who Joe Strummer was! I just walked in the shop looking to buy my first brand new guitar ever & this guitar 🎸 was hanging on the wall & it just instantly spoke to me! I picked her up, strummed away to get a feel for her, & we were an energetic match! Beauty in motion, sparks flying inside me, joy in my eyes & a grin on my face! This guitar suits my personality in how it looks, feels & sounds! It truly is a snazzy instrument! I’ve always wanted to play near a fire 🔥 pit under a star 💫 lit sky. So of course I was like ‘could this guitar get any more perfect for me?’ Then he brings out the guitar case & I almost couldn’t deal it was so lovely 😊! My first guitar case ever! I’m really stoked about my new purchase. I don’t buy new stuff often & this was sort of spendy for me so thank you for sharing your video! Made me feel like I made a good purchase. Btw, you play beautifully & your energy is lovely. Well done video!🙏💕🎸🎶🤘Take Care!

Hey congrats to you and may the spirit of Joe run through you when you strum that black beauty Try to learn the song “black man in hammersmith “ in honor of Joe ( you should learn at least one clash song n that ain’t a bad place to start)👍

A damn cool guitar but a missed opportunity in the design. Since Joe's main electric guitars were Telecasters, how cool would it have been if the headstock on the Campfire acoustic model had been a Tele shape headstock instead of a Strat one!? Like I said, missed opportunity!

I’m so glad it is a Malibu. It looked like a toy on our boy, Dagan.

This looks smart. Not a fan of Acoustics normally as they are sooooo big. Fav Clash song is Train In Vein.

You have parlor and folk/auditorioum sizes at very nice prices :) not a fan of dreadnought either because of their size

Isn’t this just the Fender Malibu Special with star inlays on the fretboard? They should have came with something new and not something that already exists

if you could only have one tims hellcat or joes campfire????

My debate exactly. For me it would come down to scale length.

What's the difference between this and the Tim Armstrong signature guitar? Aside from the neck/headstock.
@aaronchilds63823 жыл бұрын
The Tim Armstrong has a 25.3" scale length as opposed to 24.1" on the Joe Strummer. The shorter scale length will feel slinkier, sound a little thicker, and be easier to bend strings. Tim's is a solid mahogany top vs the solid spruce top on Joe's. I like mahogany for its natural compression, but to me it does have a drier, woodier sound. Spruce has nice balance and projection and to me sounds a little brighter. Depends on the sound you prefer. I have the Hellcat and enjoy it, but this one also has my interest. I just wish they had gone for larger star inlays and a tele headstock.

OMG, I love Strummer and Clash but this guitar doesn’t look anything like any of guitars Joe played. It sounds dead and very cheap. An insult to great Joe 😕
