I didn’t think my bid was going to fly….surprise!! As you said, a couple of small finish issues…no big deal. Guitar was setup nicely, with really not much for me to do outside of change strings, oil fretboard and hit the top frets a bit and polish her up!! $250? You got yourself a nice sounding guitar for a great price in my opinion. Sure it has a couple of dings, but it doesn't affect the sound or playability. I've gambled on a couple of open box/used like new guitars and so far I haven't had any issues. One was $50 off the other was $150 off. When I got them, they looked brand new. No scratches or dings and still had all the plastic on the pu's, pick guard and backplates. Congrats on the new addition. Can't wait to see what you're going to do with it. Have a great week Jimmy!

Only difference appears to be the body stripes… Congrats and enjoy it should you decide to grab one! Beautiful Stang Jimmy. I love mine. I got the limited in candy apple red that Guitar Center had last year. They had it in lake placid blue also but it was more of a light sparkly blue. Not dark like the true lpb. The Squier CV line is very nice these days. Peace brother. ✌

Most likely this was "Brand new" but opened just for inspection and since the guitar had blemishes from the factory, they put "Used like new" similar to how Sweetwater has their "Demo" guitars.

Good review, but regarding the switching, the two switches are on regardless of which direction you slide them, with the middle position being off. The only way to achieve out of faze is with both pickups on and the switches facing opposite directions, either one forward and the other back, or with both switches close together. You cannot get out of faze with one pickup off. With only one pickup, it makes no difference soundwise if it is forwards or backwards.

Looks like some of the promised IYV guitars are finally coming to Amazon, including the white relic Strat, the SG-style double-neck, and their headless guitar. The headless guitar is the only mildly interesting one to me, and I can already tell from the pictures that it is NOT anywhere near as well designed as the headless offerings from EART or Latitude. Also, there’s a seller on eBay selling Ash-veneered IYV ITF-350’s domestically for $129 plus free shipping! No idea how honest the seller is.

Yep!! Should be around the end of this year, beginning of next year. These will be the newer model numbers which I explained in my “Changes” video with the newer headstock and in the case of the 300 NA (now the 350) a ash top.

So far, I have yet to try one. Heard some good things, but have not pulled the trigger on any of their models…yet 😎 I have looked at their Strat, Tele, 335 styles and even their “headless” models The stainless frets and compound radius fingerboards are nice features..perhaps in the “future”…appreciate the suggestion and heads up! 🎸👍

The bridge Pickup is bright with neck more subdued but not muddy.They are four wire humbuckers so you can split them if you want but the guitar does not have a pull switch installed. The pots are full size. with nice wiring.

Hey Jimmy, I have a vintage '66 Mustang. It's fun to pull out and play the short-scale oldie, but I'll bet your CV is an improvement over it. The vintage has a 7.25 radius, a very thin neck, weak single coils, not the greatest tuners, and thin frets. Goes out of tune fairly easily, especially with the wiggle stick. But it is vintage, ya know? 😉

I had a “older” vintage Mustang back in the day myself…don’t remember the year exactly, but would say late 60’s…I ended up selling it when I was in the UK as the guy made me a offer I couldn’t refuse…😎 Yes, the older Mustang had the 7.25 radius.
