I own this one and super happy with it. Considered maybe switching the pickups to handle heavier stuff a little more but unsure. Glad you’re enjoying it as much as I am.

I actually think the pick ups are fine as they are, very powerful for a tele, heavier stuff, in my opinion, probably requires superstrat style etc. That's why we have many guitars right ? we tell ourselves we need them for different styles of music and our wives fall for it sometimes. lol. I actually think a coil tap would be a good addition and a five way switch with phase options on the pickups, I have that on another tele so left this one alone.

@@jonathanpanetta I have an ibanez s series, real thin body, great neck, i love it. I fitted locking tuners, it's a good mod on them / any guitar.

I don't know the G&L , i know they do make some nice stuff tho, make sure you feel and play both i guess

I’m surprised nobody has commented 😢 I have several guitars ranging from $1,200 to $169 so I’m not opposed to less expensive ones. I think that is an excellent guitar for the money and if there’s any problems, they would be slight and fixable with a little elbow grease.

they are indeed, plays great and lovely neck. i am not a very good guitar player which is probably why no comments etc lol

Purchased this guitar recently. Which fretboard cleaner would you recommend?

i personally use dunlop 65 fretboard lemon oil at every restring. let it soak in for a few mins then just wipe it off with microfibre cloth and fit strings. works for me anyway
