I have the GZRs and I love them, but I wouldn't replace the stock Fenders with GZRs. They sound pretty similar, and the stock fender sound great. If I was starting from scratch, I'd use the GZRs.

Honestly I like the stock pickups on this bass. Tried one at a local music store and felt and sounded really good!

I agree with everyone else, the stock pickups sound great! Would you consider doing a comparison of the Player Plus with a Sire P7 or P8?

in clean mode i like the more pronounced mids of the fender stock p pickup, which of course also influences the both-PU-Sound. Distorted however the EMGs seem to have a little more highs and therefore more grit and presence, which i also like. i have to admit though that i could hardly tell a difference between the bridge Pickup models...

i honestly like them both, but prefer the emgs for distorted sounds. great upload, and excellent variety of sounds on display here.

Are my ears' something wrong? I don't feel a significant difference. If it is true, Yosemite pickups are pretty impressive. Thanks for the great video.

Those aren’t Yosemites. Fender lists it as “Player Plus pickups”.

Stock Pickupos sounding great clean. EMG maybe 5% better with Distortion.

No, the mustang pj's bridge pickup isn't a noiseless...the noiseless are a good upgrade for the mustang though

Stock pups sound better clean, GZR ones sound a bit spicier overdriven, but really just a little bit
