honestly id never get a signature guitar, but when i played this bad boy i almost did. Ive been playing jazzmasters my whole life and this was one of the nicest ive played. He did a good few simple mods and really mades it playable.

@thomasrevere7916 Жыл бұрын
@@adeptonihilam3150 I bought one new about a year ago. I bought the second one because a guy on craigslist had one listed for $1000. It's too good of a guitar to not buy it at that price. I'm hoping to find someone who has the Copper Age and wants the Oxblood so I can make a trade. I might just keep it and have one in standard and one in C tuning.

Love jazzmaster and jags but fret buzz and the floating bridge kill the enjoyment! I know you can fix it with a mastery bridge and buzz stopper but when you pay over $1000.00 for an instrument, you shouldn't have to spend another $200 - $300 on mods. Had my jag a week and very disappointed that I can't do drop d without major buzz!

I have a Jaguar HH, neither Drop D or D standard are any bother. Granted, mine has a bridge that isn't stock, but the 24" scale length kind of kills going lower. This has the advantage of being a giraffe amongst guitars - 27.5" scale, I believe? I have full confidence that it could do C standard with heavy enough strings.
@theyearoftherat10 жыл бұрын
u don't need a buzz stop with a mastery. in fact, you don't want a buzz stop on one period - it kills some of the guitar's nuances.
@henrikpetersson289910 жыл бұрын
This one does have the bridge switched out already however.

Why is this signature made in Mexico? $1300??? Should $3-400 cheaper being made down south.
@universalmanchild8 жыл бұрын
+Mini Surf All American parts, just assembled in Mexico. However the fact that it's a "signature" model automatically hypes the price up.
@gorillaz63998 жыл бұрын
As far as I know, most artists have a say in the price of their signature models. And the guitar has a custom color and painted headstock, so that probably affected the price as well.

Just wait - we will be seeing some guitars without the Squier name, Fender instead, on headstocks made in places like Indonesia and China more often; as Ensenada workers are wanting more money it will be off to the next cheap labor force to not exploit. Wonder where it will be these companies go after even Indonesian wages rise.
