It's almost worth it just so you don't have to worry about getting the first nick in it. I still prefer non Fender strats just so the volume knob is at least a little further away.

I love the Road Worn series. My 2009 60s RW Strat is amazing. I just with Fender would put rosewood boards on the Vintera series and offer a 3 tone burst.

1. Rosewood still exists and are allowed to be used on musical instruments again. 2. Fender just won't let us have Rosewood anymore on Mexico guitars because it's now more exclusive than Pau Ferro. US models gets Rosewood. 3. Pau Ferro is just fine, but too light and vainy looking for my taste. Find a nice dark one and I have no problems with it.

They feel really good, nitro looks better than poly, they age better and if you get a ding on it (which eventually will happen) it won't bother you Also you have no control over what you like and what you don't like, you just acquire a personal taste due to random events and circumstances

@@lafemmeparallel I don’t see how it would feel different. When you’re holding down on a frat board playing guitar 95% of what you’re touching is the strings. Not the actual wood.
@adamdoran235
@adamdoran235 2 жыл бұрын
@@nimitz1739 Seriously? How the board feels under my fingers is probably the most significant influencing factor in how I get on with a guitar. I feel plenty of the wood under my finger tips on either side of the string when I frett. And different woods and lacquers make a huge and immediately obvious difference. Well to me anyway..?

I have this in gold, I changed the pickups, took out one of the tone knobs so that it’s just master volume, master tone. hiked the action up (these feel awful with low action) and dialled it to how I like my fiddles. God damn this thing plays and sounds amazing! Honestly so happy with this guitar. I bought it used and it had low action, dead as fuck strings anf I thought I’d made a huge mistake buying it but now it’s my favourite guitar. I sound like a boomer “da bloos” prick

Honestly, and no offense, but I feel that these guitars are very overpriced for what you get. I mean they have synthetic nuts, zinc blocks, 7.5 radius (which for me is unusable) and 60's style pups with plastic wiring and these guitars are made in Mexico, so I don't understand the "HUGE" price tag on them. The older Road worn series had the same issues but I like the texmex pups better than these that are on the Vintera Road Worn series. It seems like, unless you spend thousands of dollars on a custom shop strat you can't get what you want from Fender. I love fender strats and have around 20-30 of them, but for the last 10 years or more and for the exception of the American Original series and custom shop, I have not seen or played a single affordable Fender strat right off the assembly line, that I could play on stage without heavy modifications to it, i.e. pups, nut, bridge and neck etc... (neck to a soft V with 9.5 radius). I feel like if Fender is not careful they will price themselves right out of existence. Just my 2 cents worth Peace.
