Got any recommendations for good players to listen to when you are starting to learn country styles?
@rollingchicken90922 жыл бұрын
Don't know if that's the kind of country playing your looking for, but you could check out Jerry Reed. Great guitarist of country music! Also check out waylon jennings, you wouldn't say he's a great player, but he has a really unique and nice style and he's got that twang!

In hybrid picking, do most players use their fingernails on the finger picking part, or can you do it with your fingertips? I don’t like growing long fingernails because they get in my way of doing everyday things.
@dewdude21122 жыл бұрын
You can definitely just use finger tips. You have to snap them a little bit...or you can softly finger pick too....for a softer less chicken sound. Tele will respond to you touch.

I really appreciate the lessons and just got a Squier Telecaster Vibe 60's Classic edition and it looks sweet with my telecoustic. Both for country playing music. Thanks for the lessons too.

I’ve seen Dwight Yoakam 2 times. In both instances I had the pleasure of watching Eugene Edwards beat the crap out of a Telecaster and looked great doing it.Just couldn’t take my eyes of the dude. A pro with a ton of class..

Amazing lesson here, I love that Tele Twang. I sure miss it, I was a Tele player in my teens and 20s and since switched the a Gretsch hollow body. May have to get a Tele again!
