Based on the price for the 3.5" intercoolers from awe I would wager they are Chinese cores but I could be wrong. The intercoolers with American made cores tend to be more expensive

The is no upgrade over the GT2 intercoolers, they are worse, some chinezium casting and chinezium cores. The GT2 are much more efficient.

@@matt13ross you will maybe do a dyno and see the IAT is not what you think it should be 🙂. In the mean time look closely at the fin design, and think about why the GT2 have a more intricate fin design on them?! And why the chinezium have a rudimentary simple and cheap design?!
@matt13ross8 ай бұрын
I'm not a scientist!! lol I feel much more confident in these intercoolers vs. the GT2 with plastic end tanks. Plus, these are reasonably priced. I certainly can't justify $3,000 for other intercoolers (some are even MORE expensive!)
@sutherlacd278 ай бұрын
@@matt13ross there are bar and plate cores and tube and fin cores. Gt2 intercoolers are lighter and more efficient. For OEM sized intercoolers they are arguably the best performing option. It's not until you move to the larger 4.5"+ intercoolers that there are better options performance wise.
