Best advice, listen to your body! If your symptoms seem worse after eating a certain food or with a certain exposure (e.g the sun or certain beauty products) eliminate that thing! Be kind to yourself, the symptoms of this disease can change almost daily. It’s frustrating but with time and attention you will learn what is best for you. There is no one stop shop for treatment, sometimes you have to try a few different treatment options to see what works for YOU! Lastly, get a sense of community (join the dermatomyositis group on Facebook). It’s helpful to know you are not alone In this fight. Stay well 💪🏾
