Very nice of you to include a fitness as part of the company health care program. Growing up we picked rocks walking the fields. After plowing we had to pick rocks the tractors could not drive over. Two or three of these would fill a 1yrd loader bucket.

All the temperature shifts, especially the very low ones are hard on electronics and sensors positioned outside the cab. Even a non heated shed would be a blessing as it would remove all the wind chill and blowing around of looms. Big shed with a heated workshop... There must be working efficiency gains in the winter with reduced breakdowns/damage that could offset the cost.. And a high tip bucket would keep you clear of those hoops.... Hope you had a great Christmas and a Happier new year!

Enclosed short term storage that is varmint proof is expensive. The old way was piles on the ground that were even easier for wildlife to access. Next option up is rings of plywood or sheet metal. Some park the equipment outside and fill the machine shed for a few months.

Well the DEF pomp freezing is not a surprise but I can keep on bitching about that . A funny story about breaking a window ( for me funny ) . In April I was sent to Estonia to " guide " a farmer through the functions on a brand new 714 . He had a sprayer that goes on his 3 point and we were going to hook this up . He was inside the cab and I was connecting the PTO shaft . He climbed out of the cab to connect the hydraulics and once done with that we were talking as he was lifting the sprayer from the mudguard remotes . The back window was open and we didn´t pay attention and this weird build Polish sprayer had it´s valve block so high up that is busted the back window . Brand new tractor remember ? As he was cursing about his own stupid mistake , a truck past by and a little rock shot from under the tyre and took out the front window as well . And yes , I am a big child because I was laughing so hard and this poor man was cursing and swearing but I just couldn´t stop .
