@@carolinetalde2933 try looking for a window shaped mirror, ideally hanging it opposite any direction that any light could reflect off of it making it feel like there’s light coming from the “window” . Also just adding any shaped mirror in any dark room helps to spread light around & brighten up a dark space…Amazon just type in window shaped mirrors! It really makes a diff in a room w zero windows . For real

It's funny how even before knowing anything about Feng shui, certain placements or items would feel wrong. For instance, I could never have a mirror looking on my bed, I'd actually prefer not to have one at all. And being across from a closet was always unsettling. Thank you Julie for explaining why!

Thank you for your knowledge! You make it simple. I have now begun taking picture's as I place pieces in each room. I rent a Town Home and have too much furniture for each room. I will be moving in one year so I have decided to rent a storage. I wish men would build, but not design. I have built so many homes. As my abilities grew I began placing furniture in each room as I drew the layout of each home. I found this helped me, but also the builder. We could communicate easier. They would always put the heat vent under where I knew the bed should be placed🌝

Julie, I really appreciate your narrative style, with so much information presented in such an organized way, interspersed with cuts to visual examples and diagrams and written details. After your kitchen feng shui, I put a plant on a shelf by the sink, since it was opposite the cooktop, to blunt the opposition of fire and water. My bedroom was a bit of a challenge, but I believe it is 95% there. My nightstands are 3” too tall, with pesky poison arrows. That’s my 5%! One thing I will start doing is closing the bathroom door at night. I can already see it will be a nice touch

Great video, thank you so kindly. I was born and raised in Europe and fondly remember our home never being cluttered, everything had it's place. Visiting friends at their home I realized the harmony at my own house. Shoes where taken off when entering, a small entryway held a shoe cabinet with a cushion to sit and take you shoes off or on, a mirror and hat rack and nothing more. Everything looked cozy and warm through out our home. Thank you kindly for sharing your knowledge, I learned a few more Trix to make my home even more cozy. Hugs)))🤗

Things in whatever form or shape, if they are not right, they make you wince. I think many sensitive, intuitive people are the same. I've never been interested in Feng shui , but I can see that it is all about common sense and a person's intuitiveness, sensitivity.

Thank you for this well done presentation... I think that some people have instinctively that sense of feng shui... If one is sensitive, he naturally feels the energies, and how they can impact, without having learned this science, where and how to dispose things according to the nature of the room, feel if they harmonise or disturb your energies... harmony, balance... between yin and yang...

Thank you for the video. It has given me more to think about. How do you balance a bedroom if the furniture is asymmetrical and has to be that way to save space? It would be nice to have two night stands but not practical for my living situation. I can move things around to make it work. How do you arrange a medium size room that needs to serve three functions, bedroom, working area for the desk and relaxation area with a two-seater sofa. All those pictures in the videos are large spacious rooms for affluent people and they do illustrate your points well. However, for the non-affluent, that is not really an option and much harder to make the space work so one can be happy in it. A video on something like this would be great if you don't already have one. Think along the lines of shitty accommodations but somehow making it work with a small to medium sized bedroom.

Love the Feng Shui videos!!! Good sleep is so important. And the energy in the room totally affects that. As a photographer, I always paint my bedroom a color that flatters me. I am happy to have happened upon your site! As someone who has tried to follow Feng Shui for some time, I am grateful for your expertise. I am an artist so often begin to feel weighed down by clutter and have to step back and rethink things. I am planning a move soon, and while I am excited about this, I foresee some issues with my "new" bedroom. It has some odd corners, (a small recessed area next to a closet making that wall incompatible with a bed). Two other walls have a window, and the third the door. It is a smaller sized room than one sees in magazines. The only options to place the bed (so as not to be in the "death position", ) are to place it either; 1.off to one side near the recess, slightly over that window, 2. on the opposite wall in front of the window, sideways to the door, or 3. with the head of the bed on the same wall as the door alongside. (I would only be able see the door in this last position when I turn my head to the left.). None of these options are optimal. My question is which would be the best choice in this case? Thank you for any suggestions!

She was relieved that since I staged her bedroom, she can sleep very well overnight now. She has not been sleeping well for two years. Take it with a grain of salt and give it a try. As Julie mentions in this video, she is merely offering guides and great ones at that. If your room doesn’t tick all the boxes or the way your room was structured doesn’t allow you to position certain things in certain places doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. Do what works best for you. The placement of furniture for positive energy flow helps tremendously but is secondary to improving the energy flow you have going on with yourself. ☮️ Do you!
