TMM is like the first Feng I've ever seen to use 4~3 in the neutral and not do a b3+4 every 2.5 seconds.

Glad to hear he will try Raven. Imortalxsoul got me addicted to her awhile back. She is so fun to play.

TMM really is playing Feng too honestly like that one person said. He played him like a B tier character instead of the S tier he is. He didn't properly utilize so many moves that make Feng special. He didn't use kenpo, he didn't use back 1, he didn't use his own magic 4 into shoulder, he barely utilized back turn, he only got one launching punch parry, he didn't use shifting cloud parries. The shifting cloud parries would have been a great counter to Lee's multi-hit magic 4. The list could go on. What he did use wasn't super optimized either but he can get a pass on that since this character isn't his main but there's so much he didn't do even though he's aware of them considering he did a lot of those moves in his Feng breakdown video.

He still won a lot of matches so fuck your bullshit mindset on how to play "properly". It literally does not matter how you play a Tekken character as long as you know the fundamentals of reading mind games. You can be the most optimal skilled player and you can still lose to a tier 1 if that tier 1 is good with reading your moves. Being optimal does not always make you a better player. In the case of Tekken, being optimal is a bad move because it is super predictable. Swe is just good in general. He may not main Feng, but damn he knows how to read the opponents tactics.
@GeneralSpecific33 жыл бұрын
@@oveliaeinsberg9838 Easy does it, no need for hostility. I think you're missing the point of my comment. TMM is good at Tekken, no argument there. He is good at Tekken even if it's his first day playing a character. That doesn't mean he is good with the character though, only that he is good at Tekken and is good at understanding the chess match against opponents. Saying "It literally does not matter how you play a Tekken character" is where I strongly disagree. Many of his complaints about playing against Lee could have been alleviated by using the character the way he is meant to be used. Towards the end, TMM even said his opponent was using Lee the way he was supposed to be used. Why would anyone want to ignore a character's moveset? What is the point of having more than one character in the game if what you say is true?
@1991jj3 жыл бұрын
The expectation on TMM to play all characters optimally is way too unrealistic. He just beat Grog 2 zip with Kazuya in the qualifier. I think he's comfortable playing Kaz and a few others really well while playing other characters for fun.
@GeneralSpecific33 жыл бұрын
@@1991jj Sure that's why I said he gets a pass for not optimizing things but there are some obvious Feng tools he shouldn't have neglected

@@ilayakreb2316 I hope you didn’t take any offense. I just felt mainman a was exaggerating a bit. I’m not saying you’re bad or anything like that. I play lee myself so I know he’s hard. I can be a bit harsh and a bit of an elitist sometimes when it comes to players skill including my own. I’m very critical of others and myself in this game. I know it can be scary to fight feng, I hate the matchup myself. I just felt with some of your obvious flow charts, throwing out f3, and with lots of execution errors he was being a bit too generous. I’m a high level player myself (tgp almost 2 years ago) honestly it was more mainman I was trying to be critical of. He wasn’t just struggling because you’re a solid player. He was struggling because he wasn’t capitalizing on your mistakes properly hardly at all
@AMK3163 жыл бұрын
@@ilayakreb2316 don’t take what I said too seriously. I can be a dick about this game sometimes. You are a good player I just don’t really think what mainman said was accurate. This Lee isn't fantastic, he's okay nothing special. I don't know how MM can complain when he's playing braindead Feng that has all the same tools but better. If you lose against Lee you've only got yourself to blame tbh. Yeah his m4 is probably the best in the game but you can deal with M4 quite easily if you're not trigger happy with pressing.

How do i counter lee i dont really know the match up and always get murked
@ronoronoronorono3 жыл бұрын
@@ImJustMovin Sidesteps are pretty good, his homing is kinda slow and his moveset pretty linear, don't play too agressive because his keepout is very strong, be sure to learn your exact combo to punish his slide, other than that take a look at the frames of his key moves, there are plenty of punishable ones
@MrDxfusion3 жыл бұрын
@@ImJustMovin Like Ntoai said, you can step Lee quite easily, he's got mostly high hitting moves so he can be ducked a lot and he's pretty much negative on all his good moves so he loses his turn very often. Side step towards his back, if you see the Lee doing a lot of homing moves you can sidestep fuzzy guard nearly all his homing moves. Don't get trigger happy on plus frames because that's where Lee will catch you with his CH tools. Take it slow and don't press too often, if you're defensive against Lee it makes it so much harder for the Lee player. Good luck!

It’s pretty easy to DM your homie on stream & not care about the ranked result. Much harder to play toxic randoms who will do anything to win, even cheat. Not so sure TMM would be able to keep his cool in a true ranked scenario. That being said, not a bad idea to decrease anxiety & stress for Tekken streamers.
