Fenix 1: Multifunction Display Control Unit. Program in the right order.

This video showcases Microsoft Flight Simulator MSFS 2020 and the A320 produced by Fenix Simulations. The procedure used here can be used on any MCDU unit but the Fenix A320 tablet in the cockpit provides shortcuts to access the data required, an ease of import from SimBrief, and apps to calculate some required values much more easily. Timestamps below. It aims to give an introduction to how to program the MCDU in the right order, avoiding any omissions that will give you troubles later on. This by no means a polished presentation - and it makes reference to areas that involve other detail (such as charts etc), but it is enough to get you started.

Hi there - yes, I concur, but having used the MCDU in various iterations within XPlane, I thought the order of what you need to cover was helpful. The key difference for me is that in the Fenix the apps on the ECU do the calculations before you, whereas in other aircraft you would be referring to and calculating direct from Simbrief.
