Another awesome choice for a tricky landing JP. It took me 3 goes to nail a decent landing. The first one was a hard landing (passengers filed a complaint lol), second was a floater so did a go around and the third one was the charm. Many thanks for doing these videos, I have learnt so much and feel more confidant doing these type of approaches.

Hi, Passengers often complain about a hard landing, even though it is usually safer than a smooth one :-) Simulators are there to train for proficiency, and you achieved that on your third attempt. Well done, and thank you for your kind words!

I genuinely appreciate all the effort you're putting into this software. For someone like me who wants to stay sharp, it's incredibly helpful. However, not having METAR at the airport would be a real showstopper. For an approach like this, the first thing we check is that the minima are met-going in blind and hoping they are there isn't exactly ideal. Another tip: on the MCDU, you could set the ground altitude in the g/a page. That could help streamline things a bit.

Hi, at 2:00 in the video, the METAR is displayed and shows weather above the minimums for the approach. Are you referring to a different part of the video?

Thank you. I find these videos so interesting and learn so much from you plus can I make the most out of FSiPanel instead of just using the standard fixes. I am wondering whether you have ever done (or will do) a video of an approach to Paro Buthan VQPR. I am not sure the A320 can land there but I know the A319 can and I have seen an airbus pilot who attempted the landing there using the fenix.

Thanks for your kind words, I will have a look at VQPR, it is a cloud break procedure RNP, the idea is to descend below the cloud layer in VMC and to complete the approach visually.

Another great training video from you! Do you know what point #7 means: Pilot controlled rwy lighting? Thank you!
@FSiPanel7 ай бұрын
Hi, Thank you for your feedback! It means that pilots can control the airport lights with their radios, which is used in non-controlled airports. All lights, except the beacon, will be off, and the pilot can turn them on and adjust the intensity using clicks on the COM radio. Have a look at the link below: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilot-controlled_lighting

Awesome video ! But I still can't get it right when using FLS on RNP approaches. I tend to end too high ?

Sorry I'm not using FLS, I will give it a shot soon
