Welcome to the fourth video in a new series of tutorial videos taking you on a full flight from Manchester to Prague. Each of these tutorials is designed and based on real world procedures used by A320 pilots around the globe to make your flight simulator experiences as realistic as possible.
Episode 4:- In this episode, you join us holding short of runway 23R at Manchester. We take you through the full setup for the take-off and climb to cruise using the correct procedures.

I just only want to ask don't you have to turn off RWY TURN OFF, LAND and NOSE lights off at 10000 feet?

RWY turn off lights and nose lights are only on when the gear is lowered anyway so makes no difference here. The landing lights is discretionary or per airline SOPs.

I have the problem, when I go full throttle for take off my plane is moving from the left or right and with full power my rudder pedals are not reacting correctly but they are working proper with taxiing and I switcht that little wheel on the left side off but it still doesn’t work🥲 Can u help with it, or du u have any idea what the problem can be?

Maybe a dumb question but how can I save the FENIX flight (say at TOC) and then pick it up later with all settings, fplan, etc in tact? Or is it easier to do this in the FBW or the MSFS A320? Many thanks. Loving these tutorials!

I go to climb detent on thrust and switch on AP but the aircraft over speeds,any idea why.

Hi easyjetsimpilot, may I know what packs do? Is it mandatory to turn them off for takeoff?

These are for the cabin air conditioning. Before the pandemic you would turn off the packs for take off to give you maximum power (I think). During the pandemic many airlines would have the packs on for take off, presumably to make sure the cabin air is kept moving.

How come when i go to set up my fuel i cant insert the zfw/zfwcg. Keeps saying invalid entry but im getting all my information off simbrief. Any help. Thanks and also how do I prevent “fuel auto feed fault” from happening.

The ZFW/ZFWCG needs to be entered in the format XX.X/XX.X If this doesn't work, pop onto our discord server where you can send us pics of the issue.

@@Easyjetsimpilot i follow your discord but cant message you! Btw why when i spawn in C & D with gpu on. I import ny flight plan on the tablet but every time it doesnt show my amount of passengers and its always the same zfw/zfwcg cant get it to be different. And these are different routes.

I'm having a random problem with AP turning itself off on Take Off about 20 secs after activating it, by random I mean it doesn't happen all of the time, it's driving me nuts. And the thing is I can't reactivate it again no matter what I do so the flight is over. Other people have said it's to do with Null Zones(I don't even know what to do with those), or the Sim starts yelling Speed at me. I'm using the Thrustmaster Airbus Set with the Thrustmaster Throttles.

Sounds like you are entering Alpha Prot and your speed is far too low. AP will disengage and remain unable to be selected until your speed is back safe.

Great video, very helpful. If our transition alt. is 5,000 or 6,000 - do we change at it (and not at 10 K ft.) barometers to Std. and turn off/on lights..?

No, you change to STD when you are climbing to a FL. 👍
