Fenix LR50R Flashlight Kit Review! (One Of the Best Combination Beams I've Seen!)

Here is the latest from Fenix with their LR50R flashlight kit. Sporting four Luminus SST-70 LEDs for some of the best combination beam performance I have seen in a multi-LED light. This kit is also one of the best I have tested. This produces a very nice wide spill easily illuminating the foreground. This would be great for those in search and rescue or hunting etc. The build quality is top notch. This style is one of my favorites from Fenix. The USB Type C charging system can rapidly charge (using QC 3.0 or PD charger) or normal charge the inlcuded battery pack. You can also use regular Fenix 21700 cells in this light as well. The UI is simple. Including the simple battery level indicator too. The holster is a weak point for I like better protection on my lights so I will buy a hard case for this from Amazon to store this light in. See link below on where you can get this kit:

I bought mine a number a months ago and I had a lump in my throat when I hit the "buy now" button because of the price. There wasn't many reviews of this model at the time. Well, I haven't bought another flashlight since. This ticked all the boxes of what a great flashlight should be. I've no doubt, because of the build quality, this LR50R will outlast me. It would be good if Charles could review the Fenix LR80R someday.

Hello Charles, Your channel is the best KZbin channel to see flashlight tests, I have seen others, but this is the most complete, and as it is always in the same place... it is excellent for comparing flashlights and deciding which one to buy, I have I bought several of the ones I've seen on your channel and I'm very grateful.. this Is the most powerfull.

Late post here. I have watched a ton of reviews. This light seems to have maybe the best light pattern and useful pattern i have seen. To my eyes at least, and @ 1000 lumens, fantastically stunning. I also love the battery options that are built in. Thanks Charles, even though it's a relatively "old" light in todays market, i am purchasing one.

Nice spill on that one along with the throw. My next light will be a good flood-type thing with 3-500 metre throw. I've got a good local use light in the Nicron N7 and a good spot in the Speras T1. I need to fill that gap. Great review, mate. Thank you.

I'm not a fan of Quad luminous Led because of the beam pattern. It got rounded halo in between. If you campare it to Quad Cree Led, the beam pattern is a lot better. I don't know if you guys notice it. By the way nice review on the light.

Wie immer klasse Video, allerdings solltest Du die Kamera fest stellen. Immer wenn Du das Level erhöhst, dann regelt die Kamera runter. Die 12000 Lumen wirken dadurch kaum heller als die 6000 Lumen. Gruß Enrico

You can use 21700 protected cells in this but they will need to be slightly raised or button tops. I would purchase Fenix cells for it but they are pricey. Thanks for watching!
