I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s very dangerous buying pills off the streets. A lot of times the dealer doesn’t even know they are selling drugs cut with fentanyl. Thank you for being brave and sharing your story. I show these to my children as often as I can because like you said it can happen to anyone. God bless.

Lamont sounds like a great kid: doing chores, making good grades, helping his siblings, playing sports. This lethal poison can be hidden in any drug or substituted for any drug. Lamont had no idea he was taking it. He never meant to bring this terrible sorrow down on you, good and lovely mother. Thank you for telling your painful story so that others can learn from it and beware. One day, try to embrace life again, for yourself, for your husband, and above all for your other children. And so Lamont's spirit is free to soar.

My heart aches for the families grieving the loss of their loved ones, especially those so young. Just yesterday, I spoke with my neighbors’ teenagers and their friends (all 15) about the dangers of pressed pills and fentanyl. I sincerely hope they took the message to heart. Thank you for sharing your story-it’s opened my eyes to these dangers, and I will make sure to spread the word to others.

When you know your child is an addict, it's not as shocking if they pass. It's just as horrific, for sure, but not as mind-blowing as a sudden passing. My daughter was a heroin addict-thankfully and gratefully she's still alive and doing great. But while she was in active addiction, every day I'd worry if I'd ever see her again. But nowadays, these young adults who are not addicts, are just being curious or want to feel a buzz for a night. They swallow, smoke, or snort a pill not expecting it to be fentanyl and then lose their life. This must be so shocking to parents who experience this. 😢 I'm so so sorry ma, that this happened to your beautiful son. When you cried, I cried. All us moms can feel your pain and we send love to you. Rest Easy sweet Lamont 😔

Hello Javon , TY for telling us about your young son. We are sincerely very sorry he died from fentanyl poison .Regarding the person who sold or gave Lamont fentanyl you said , "You poisoned somebody , you committed murder , and there should be accountability." Truthful True words . Prosecutors , please charge , jurors please convict , judges please sentence these people. Please Help Give The Victims & Their Grieving Families Justice. Lamont looks wonderful in his Tux in that picture. I'm guessing it was from his Prom or a Wedding . I hope he had the time of his life. His loving Mom said fentanyl is a " Deicetful Drug , it affects everybody". Spread Awareness & See Something, Say Something. 😢 ❤

Lost my sons father 8/27/24 to fentanyl overdose. From what the medical examiner said he must of just seized and dropped because his face was bruised. It ain’t no game please get help if you struggle with addiction. I tried warning him over and over but didn’t listen, please listen and get help
