The thing I hate about these is there is no way to buy these bundled with the case. You are spending $20 on the lipstick refill, and $12 on the case. So it's basically $32 to buy each one and then $20 to refill them. I don't know why they would do this. Every other brand that sells refillable lipsticks sells you the entire lipstick + case and then sells refills for it separately which is also what she does for her skincare... so I don't understand why they priced it this way.

I guess their thinking is that you only need 1 case and you can switch out the colors for which ever lip you pick for the day.

Someone said it's probably because they will later sold "exclusive" or limited edition cases and push the collector mindset. And seing how they prices these items, that's probably what they're gonna do

​@@terracottakim8234 I think you didn't fully understand what they said. the problem is not the refilable product, the problem is that way they did it. Lot of brand already do it in a more economic and less wastefull way. Here you have the packaging for the case, the packaging for the bullet and the plasticcap on the refil bullet. It would have been less wastefull to sold the lipstick already in the case + a refil all in one packaging.

In order for refillable product to work, the price of the refillable has to be significantly different than the total product's cost. Otherwise ppl would just buy the total prpduct and not the refillable.

YOU ARE THE STAR ⭐️. The colors are a little something for everyone. She’s loosing some people with the lipstick being refilled size, which is normally what you get but it is more mental for some. It is a choice to choose the case or not, the lipstick will survive without the case. Honestly, all of the colors wore well on you.

I love that Rihanna‘s products are refillable but I just really wish that with this launch she would have included the case with the lipstick as she does with her skin care because I feel like people aren’t going to buy them separately

i'm not sure how to feel about this release. i am OBSESSED with the sheer shiny lipsticks. nobody talks about those anymore but they are awesome! as far as bullet lipsticks i'm still obsessed with the reformulation of Huda's, they are gorgeous.

I'm all for brands and refillable packaging, especially for limited edition stuff. Whether each brand pulls it off is left up to debate, but I feel like I would put money down on a refillable holder that had a design I liked and the lipstick was a formula I loved. Better than spending money on an awesome design that I would only get use out of for one lipstick

the Mattemoiselle Lipsticks were definitely more matte! but they aren't as comfortable as the new ones, so I guess it is an upgrade. as you said I also only went to the original Fenty lipstick formula for specific shades, not necessarily because I loved the formular in particular. but I have to say I still love the Fenty liquid lipsticks! the lightest shade is my go to nude tone, just hope they come out with new ones because it's been a while and maybe some lip liners.

I just don’t understand the point of this product right now. Why launch a basically satin lipstick during a time where everyone has to wear masks???? I wish the Fenty team had instead used their efforts to expand the shade range on the stunna lip paints because those are amazingly comfortable and don’t budge under my mask.

I liked the idea at first cause I thought it came with the packaging and all. If you liked it, get a refill or try another shade but they totally lost me with this gimmick idea and the packaging is not even metal to justify that price.

I would have to say a Fenty fail!! Instead of separating the lipstick and the refill, just sell the lipstick for 32.00. I don't have time for refills. I wouldn't purchase.

I kinda feel like the refillable aspect of the lipstick is a money grab. The refill already has a cap. That's enough! But then you have the case to add to the pollution. How is that reducing pollution? You're just paying an extra $20 to feel like you're making an impact.

I LOVE Fenty but this way of selling lipsticks isn't really saving the environment. Every single one of the refills comes with a plastic cap. In order for anyone to try any of the shades, you need to buy a refill. It defeats the purpose. Plus 32 for a single lipstick is insane ESPECIALLY the little product that's inside.
