This is what I think Fenty is onto... Fenty is creating pallets one by one that can cater best to specific women. They started with this Moroccan palette, which suits olive toned, Mediterranean skin tones! The next palette will be something else...perhaps something deeper and West African themed or something...and then maybe an Asian one etc. I think she wants to go around the globe and this happened to be the starting one. Her brand is all about celebrating women of color so this only makes sense to me. I will personally be buying this palette because it suits my skin tone perfectly. However, I do believe they are working on a lot more...

I think some folks are missing the point. Rihanna is a person of color, campaigns for people of color, and made a whole palette with a name that implied really rich, vibrant, deep, lux colors that... Turned out to be more versatile for people with fairer to medium skin tones. On top of that, they muddied pretty bad. Its not that it's BAD, it's just not what was expected and not the best for someone with Rich, deep skin that needs darker and more vibrant shades to really create full looks and have any versatility. This palette would be alright on my fair skin, but some of them with my olive undertones just aren't quite gonna cut it. I can see her point of view. Of course not every palette will be the best suited for every person, but it's what was expected versus what was delivered. If you love it, then get it and enjoy it! Just because it's not great for her doesn't mean she hates it and it doesn't mean you have to hate on her for not caring for it. Everyone looks for different things in their makeup, different qualities and colors and people use makeup so differently from one another that just because it isn't one person's cup of tea doesn't mean it isn't good or can't work for you! 🌸❣️ Have a beautiful day, y'all!

think that Fenty beauty should slow down releases because people will get bored easily! Pricing is a little bit on the up sides (for instance the body lava) so therefore people won’t buy it because we already have such colors in other palettes. Yeah, even as a very pale girl I thought the color range for this palette looked too soft and dusty. With a name like moroccan spice, I was expecting SPICY colors--deep jewel tones and warm tones, etc. In a palette, I want/need ONE cream shade and/or one or two neutral transition shades, and I want everything else to be more exciting and interesting. It looked to me like this palette had a few neat colors and a bunch of boring ones....can't even imagine how meh it would be with a darker complexion where the colors don't show up the way they look in the pan. (I will say that I thought this look was lit, though. You did that, Jackie.) I love Rihanna and so much of the Fenty line has intrigued me, but so far all of the eyeshadows have been hard passes.

I expected some richer colors. I needed a rust red, an orange or copper, and a green shade, a rich yellow, as well as a darker brown and gold. They're too many light colors. I guess I was expecting something a little more vibrant based on the name. I also haven't heard too many people talking about this palette. The hype seems to have died down a little. The eyeliner looks good though. I might pick that up.

I saw Alyssa Ashley's video on this pallette. Really liked the looks she created. I noticed she sprayed her brush before dipping to intensify some of the colors. So that's an option. (And, yes, I know their complexions are completely different.)
