This made me cry, We are stuck in Canada, one daughter in Newcastle ( home town) and our other daughter is in Australia. I’ve seen every window since I can remember and it always evokes a sense of joy, wonderment and goodwill. This has been such a hard year for the whole world, thanks Fenwick for carrying on this tradition in such hard times and spreading some much needed happiness

This takes me back to when I was a child. We had no money for pantoes or big piles of presents but our parents always took us to see Fenwicks window. It was an essential part of Christmas for us.

Thank you so much. Seeing the Fenwick's Christmas Window is normally one of my favourite Christmas traditions. This the first year for many that I won't be able to visit the north-east and see this in person so really appreciate this virtual reveal. A Merry Christmas and a better New Year to you all.

When I was a student in Newcastle, back in the early 80s, I always enjoyed the Fenwick's Christmas windows. My favourite was about Santa taking toys to the one eyed children of the green planet, and delivering one eyed green teddies. No idea why Fenwicks didn't actually sell them, they'd have made a fortune.

A great tradition. I remember being taken with me brother by me dad in the early 70s, standing in the crowd - I think it was the Chigley one. gulliver is the one I remember the best
