This is a great idea. I like the JAGAR because it catches a bunch with this, if its big enough, they will keep coming in because those inside are still eating & have no reason to alert those outside until the food is gone & they realise they cant get out. No slamming gates or metal fence to frighten them plus much cheaper than a crew from JAGAR plus a trap. I think the small guy will go for this once people start using it & posting their videos. Well done 'Pig Brig'.

So you guys cannot hunt hog outside of winter? I did see two Korean guys catch a boar before & it sure was amazing. First one leg was caught in the snare. Then they got some rope like a snare in the mouth & around upper jaw [nose]. Then they covered the eyes with tape before jumping on it & tying it's legs together. It weighted a whopping 330 lb.

@@alanstevens1296 it varies, but other pigs typically settle down. We try to keep enough food in there. Not sure ... seems like they come in to eat, generally stay settled, sometimes they get startled, run around, and settle back down. They overall seem calm in the trap.

Are these deer safe?
@PigBrig3 жыл бұрын
We've had deer get in and jump out ... and we've had deer get in and stay in and need to be let out (you just lift the side of the net and shoo them out). We haven't had any reports of deer getting stuck or injured by the trap. Obviously, anything can happen. We do think that because it is a net, there's likely a lower likelihood of injury vs. running into metal. Always hard to predict the crazy stuff that happens in the field tho.
