This is probably the slowest Genshin playthrough I watched. We're at episode 17 and we're not even at Liyue yet. Heck, we haven't finished Mondstadt's Archon Quest yet, and it's like the shortest Archon Quest in the game. 😂 Better than getting burned out from playing too much I guess. I enjoy it though.

Shrine of depths are what you saw at 6:52 , they’re at every region and just give you chests and primos, you get their keys by leveling up the statue of the seven and completing archon quests! 9:05 If you shoot the anemo slimes while they’re mid air they will pop like a balloon and die lol!

hey! if you dont want to continue the archon quest for a while after you’re done monstadt, i suggest posting videos dedicated to individual story questions! you could do them all in one or maybe two parts. an example would be like the amber story quest or kaeya quest you did. most characters have content that you can unlock as you progress and it would be nice to see you play them before going to the next region!

A lot of people here are complaining about the slow progression, id just like to say that all the banter and things you do in between the main quests give your videos personality and make them what they are, so please dont feel like you need to change that :) That being said, perhaps you could stream the main archon quests with all the dialogue and then cut it down to the key segments here on this channel like you usually do? The nice thing about Genshin's world is that you can just travel from Mondstadt through Liyue and Sumeru into Fontaine without even completing the Mondstadt storyline. Inazuma is the exception - you can't get there without finishing the Liyue story. At least not easily. Anyway, the nice part about that is that you can unlock world bosses and material domains for characters even if you're way behind on the story progress.

You can go to fontaine right now because a teleport waypoint that becomes available in the small shaft between the sumeru desert and fontaine at adventure rank 20 so you don’t have to wait to ascend freminet.

when you level up a statue you get a bunch of materials, in those materials you get a shrine of depth key which can be used to open that building thing you opened which contains a chest full of goodies and gives you 40 primos.

yay new episode 😍 also to ascend xingqiu, you don't actually need to gather more materials from liyue; you have all the items necessary for ascension except one of those hydro bits which you can get from the daily commissions. Also, ascending your characters to certain thresholds can unlock new talents for that character. You unlocked some so you should read through them :)

This moment hooked me personally. Also, no offense or anything, but I think you could cut the non-quest parts of the video. The mondstat archon quests for example are the shortest by a long margine. The whole 3 acts of mondstat COMBINED are 3 times shorter than a single act in inazuma, sumeru or Fontaine, and they have more acts too. There's an archon quest act in sumeru that, just the dialogue, takes almost 6 hours. That excluding the gameplay. So yeah, I personally think you could speed up the pace but, at the end of the day, play the way you're most comfortable with. I love these videos regardless lol Just a quick notice (dialogue and cutscene only) Mondstadt - 1h 32m Liyue - 4h 34m Inazuma - 5h 49m Sumeru - 13h 47m Fontaine - 5h 37 m (so far) Interlude - 5h 58m (so far)

Yay! Another genshin video! I really vibe your whole gamethrough, I just wish that you go alil faster to experience the better quests... As much as I love your overall reactions, It's actually fine if you just skip/cut the smaller ones, like fighting the monsters, havig small thoughts and etc. How bout having parts each video, like the beginning being the thoughts and answers of the last video, and the middle being the main content (quests/exploration) where there's no side stuffs or random commentry so you could focus on it, and last are the questions and thoughts while doing the quests which should then be answered in the next video... Once you get your characters to ascension phase 2 you'll be able to start leveling their talents, that's when you'll start seeing bigger damage increases. It's more effective to focus on getting your main DPS to phase 2 first, building one character at a time. Instead of giving each character just 5 levels, give 20 levels to your main DPS and ascend him again so you can unlock talent upgrades.

ascension quests does increase your world level, but also increases the max level you can reach with your characters. at the current point, you can only get them to level 40 or 50 (if im remembering right) if you finish mondstadt's story quest you get a free pass to access fontaine so you can lvl up freminet pretty decently!

Those Shrine of depths are some sort of tower or smth that you need to activate with the key, every nation has 10 shrine of depths each with their own set of keys, each shrine gives 40 primos and random items from the nation where its located in and those keys you get by finishing some stuff, in the book wherever

This is a bit late but you already have the Liyue Items you need for Xingqiu's Ascension. All you need is one of those hydro stone things which you could randomly get from checking in your commissions.

You can go to any region you want at any moment (except Inazuma for lore reasons *wink wink*) to collect ascension materials for your characters. After the Mondstadt Archon quest is completed, a teleport in Fontaine will be unlocked to get there easily. You won't get spoilers about the story by doing so, so don't worry about that!

2:01Yes, there is ascension quests. But they are for your Adventure Rank. If you have reached, for example AR 25, you get a quest to do. If you finish that quest, you are going to be able to level up further. You must reach these levels to be able to do ascension quest: AR 25, AR 35, AR 45, AR 50. For Character and Weapon Ascension, you do it six times. You need to ascent to be able to level it up futher. 20-40, 40-50, 50-60, 60-70, 70-80 and then 80-90. When you ascend a character for the first time, they get one of their passive talents unlocked. Exp books: Green has the less amount of xp and purple has the most xp. Green and blue is easier to come by. You can get them throu chests. Blue and purple. especially purple. You can only get them throu Shrines of the depth, World Quests, Story Quests, Hangouts, Archon quests and Leylines.. (Not daily commissions) - When you level up a character, do use green and blue until you get the character to higher level..

ascention quest is exactly is a quest for your world's lvl u can easily ascend your characters and weapons with some resources from open world for weapon's ascention u should go to domain with resource that u need for bow on Amber, for example also u can get some books from leylains (it's some shiny blue square that u can see on the map, u just need to defeat some enemies and use your resin to get rewards) frankly speaking I would recommend u continue arcon quest in next sity but it's just my opinion :) if u didn't wanna do more arcon quests after Mondstat, just do as u wish😉 about ascention quest - when your adventure rank will be 25, the ascention quest will be open to u don't be afraid, when the last patch released this quest became easier :) now u can explore the whole open world exept one sity :) u can do some exploration or story quests after Mondstat arcon quest this blue squares that u get from ascention of your characters - it's just wishes for the standard banner, just use them and do not spend primogems to this banner :) I'll be waiting for new series 💕

You might have already known this but you don't actually need to do the story to get to places like liyue,sumeru and fontaine the ONLY time you do need to do the story quest is to get to Inazumza which unlocks at AR30 and when you finish the liyue story. So you could just gather materials for xingqiu and freminet. (also HIGHLY recommended ascending xingqiu since he is really good.)

Hey man, i don't mean no harm but just some genuine critique for you: I watched your first time playing genshin video 2 months ago and I feel like you're progressing through the story a lil too slowly if you're still on monstadt. Monstadt is one of shortest archon quests and at this rate,, it will take you around a year to catch up to where the story is now and by then we will probably have even more story released. I really want to see you experience the later archon quests too. I feel like you could fit in more story into one episode. Again, i don't mean any harm, I just really want to see you experience the better quests.

Just my opinion.. Edit and keep on the story part. Like the talking cutscenes etc. And make exploration separate. Like in live stream or something. That way its more effective and story will progress faster. Otherwise it'll take 2 years to get to Fontaine.
