As Noelle main, I had a heart attack when I saw you using her Q as a single attack and immediately switching to other characters instead of continuing to attack with her burst. Noelle's Burst causes her regular attacks to deal much more damage than normal for a while, and these attacks are geo instead of physical.

@@You_Ate_My_SoapZhongli still covers you up even in later game, considering how his shield is currently the strongest one in game, so yes building him is worth it, but you might get bored because you think the game is too easy or not challenging using Zhongli (because you don’t even care what the enemies do, they can’t hurt you cause yk, thick shield), hence why a lot of players actually recommend not to pull for him. I still recommend Zhongli tho, a good shield is necessary in a lot of situations

Definitely level basically everyone to 20 as soon as its convenient to do so, starting with kaeya, aether, your favorites and the useful ones (probably in that order) when you level somebody to 20 then ascend them you will be able to get a standard fate from them and it doesn't take a lot of resorces. Once you get further into the game it will just be normal to get an new character and level them for the wish

It’s not that good on Ayaka/freeze Kaeya due to excess of crit rate provided by BS set, but on Keqing, Ayato, rev-melt Kaeya, Alhaitham and crit Kazuha it’s a very solid option. The main issue is keeping the passive up, which either requires a good shield+healer, or godly skill of never getting hit

Just letting you know there is a difference between the anemoculi and seelie. Anemoculi are the still ones which you can collect by touching them. You can offer them to statues to get more stamina and rewards. Seelie are those blue flying creatures that you were following in the beginning of the video. This will just lead you to a chest you can collect.

Some comments/tips: Don't worry about overinvesting into your characters right now and running out of resources. XP material costs for leveling up characters are very low all the way to about level 70ish, then they increase drastically. You could probably level up every character in the game to 20 and it would still be cheaper than leveling a single character from 80 to 90 lmao. So you won't be running short on those materials any time soon, don't worry about trying different characters out. Swirl is one of the strongest reactions in the game. When Anemo reacts with any element other than Geo, Dendro and itself, it'll absorb it into the attack, dealing both Anemo damage and the absorbed element's damage at the same time *and* spreading that element to nearby enemies/environment. Anemo characters frequently have crowd control abilities (like the Traveler sucking enemies in slightly when holding E and dragging them away with his Q), and later on in the game, certain artifacts will make Swirl *buff all damage from the element it absorbs,* making Anemo supports so good they're nearly mandatory for most high end teams. As most people have said already, it's good to read character's talents on their profile page. There are detailed explanations for how each of their abilities work, and it might make some of your characters make a little more sense as for how they're played. Amber is still played in endgame. By, like, 20 deranged people, but still. Pretty sure there's a guy that beat every weekly boss (they're pretty tough) in the game solo, hitless, at 1 hp, with just Amber's normal attack. Point is, just play who you like, you'll get by with anybody in overworld content. The souvenir shop's items all have limited supply. You'll gather sigils from exploring Mondstadt and can exchange them for the stuff there; you'll buy all of it eventually, so don't be afraid to spend them. The Domain materials and the little crystals are used for ascending weapons and characters past lvl 20, respectively, and you'll be able to farm them from domains and world bosses in the future. The shop is just there for a convenient little extra amount.

Small tip: Getting Zhongli will make your Genshin experience much easier, as your attacks can't get interupted, and his thicc shields will never let your team die. also, if you want to do more damage with your characters, make sure to user their E and Q abilities

Of you go to the "character" tab and hit "talents" you can read in full the descriptions of what each of the characters skills do. This will help with learning which characters you want to lvl up. Also for additional help you can look at a tier list or ranking system of how useful certain characters are for your acc.

Standard wishes (the blue ones) don't feel too inclined to save, the intertwined fates (pink wishes) those you should save for characters you like that are limited time events. i dont know if you've unlocked trials, but if you press ESC, and go to Events, then you might be able to do Trials of the current limited time event characters.

One thing about Barbara is that her E skill (the healing ring) is a skill that works even when the character is not on screen, and will heal whichever character you have active at the moment. Other E skills that will keep working even if you switch characters are Fischl's Oz, Noel's Shield, and Amber's Baron Bunny, for example.

(for example, if you use noelle's ultimate on a pyro slime it creates the crystallize reaction and makes a pyro shield -noelle's ultimate makes her sword huge so you're meant to play as her until it goes back to normal, and speaking of noelle, she (as well as other claymore users) breaks ore's way quicker than sword users -the items in marjorie's shop are for ascending weapons and characters, and you can get more sigils by opening chests in mondstadt

Plus you have a pretty decent chance of getting a 5☆ off of that banner. I have gotten a standard 5☆ off of Noelle banner on 2 of my accounts. So no, spending them on Standard banner to increase pity and just ignoring Noelle banner is not a good idea in my opinion.

@@reemm6270 No it wouldn't, you're only guaranteed Noelle on the first 10 pull (8 fates with the discount), you can get any 4 star on your 2nd 10 pull and you also have a small chance at pulling a 5 star so it's the same as pulling from the standard banner while saving 2 more fates on top of the 2 you saved from the first pull. The 20% wish discount is better than the tiny pity you miss out on, on top of that it's only standard banner pity since the limited banners have their own pity. Even if you end up with a 2nd copy of Noelle, constellations are good, Noelle specifically gets a very significant damage boost at C6.

Almost half of the 1.0 4 stars are currently dominating the meta. If you pull on standard banner, not only you have lesser chance to get them, you might also get characters that can be too niche or has trouble getting their ascension materials (you can get inazuma character in standard banner, but not in novice banner, which render their playability till the player reached inazuma)

i don't know what experts advise, but i'd say it's safe to level up everyone to about the same level (upto L20). Upto L20 it doesn't take much in resources. Early on in the game, all new characters are potentially someone you'd use in the long term (everyone has a different style, so you cant really tell from other's opinions). You can only find out by using them in the field .. so levelling up a char to be on par, choosing a team for the char, and taking the char out for a spin is a good bet. /my opinion ps: you can teleport to the domains where you've opened the doors. Shown as little green diamonds on the big map. pps: you like swirl? .. the Queen of Swirl is Sucrose. I hope you are blessed with Sucrose in a future wish.

The stuff in the shop is more for character ascension when the characters hit level 20,level 40, level 50 etc. for now , the anemo sigils can be saved until the characters need to be ascended to higher levels

Honestly, I am just happy that you are sharing your journey. By all means, structure your videos however you see fit, but for me, I am just enjoying the nostalgia of a brand new Genshin account. That Prototype Rancor that you just got from your AR reward, would be really good on either your Kaeya or I suppose your Traveler. I notice that you hack and slash a lot during combat as your artifacts probably don't have a lot of Energy Recharge to make your "E" and "Q" available every rotation, so the Physical Damage main-stat on the Prototype Rancor might be helpful for you. tip: if you fall after running out of stamina, just plunge attack so you won't die from falling. another tip is if your fighting a ruin gurdian use amber and aim at the eye to stun them.

Important note here. Be sure to hit the eye twice with a fully charged aimed shot for the Ruin Guard to be completely paralyzed. If you only hit it once it will just stagger a bit and you won't really have time to walk in and deal damage to it before it goes back to normal...

Ah, the first ruin guard, always an experience. Also, I have commented this before, but reading the talent descriptions will be very very helpful, just as important as reading the guide tutorials. By the way, the items in Marjorie's shop are all available through normal grinding (from bosses and domains) but her shop is a quick and easy way to get them. Those materials are used for character and weapon ascension. There is no need to hold back on sigils in my opinion, just spend them. You will get more of them as you explore and open more chests. (And isn't it funny that after three years, Marjorie still has not shown us her completed product despite many of us having cleared out her shop?)

Barbara's Burst heals the whole party. That is what it does. It doesn't do anything to the enemies. Her Elemental skill heals anyone who is on the field, not just herself, but it ticks every few seconds. But if you need to heal EVERYONE, then you are using it properly, where you attack the enemies with Barbara while the skill is active. But if you only need to heal one, just switch to that character and let the skill heal over time. Also, her heals depends on her HP. So it is best to give her HP artifacts. Since you are just a beginner, just put "Adventurer Set" since it gives 1000 HP when you have two of the set equipped. Noelle's Burst makes her sword EXCALIBUR (jk). It infuses geo on her weapon (her attack put Geo status on the enemies) and increase the damage based on her DEF. You aren't suppose to switch out after the first slash. Just keep attacking with her "Excalibur." I am not sure if you forgot, but you can HOLD Aether's elemental skill so that it does MORE DAMAGE. There are a lot of elemental skills that have different effects if you just tap or hold the skill. Best to just read the skill description. Anemo can swirl with PYRO, CRYO, HYDRO, and ELECTRO. Geo can crystalize with PYRO, CRYO, HYDRO, and ELECTRO. If you crystalize them, they will drop a crystal that will give you a shield. To trigger a reaction, the enemy must have an element on top of their heads first before you apply a new element. You can swirl pyro on some Hilichurls because they are carrying a burning club or you are close to a campfire. But in most cases, you need to apply an element on them first. Like in the case with the Dendro Samachurl (the magic dude that spawns vines), there wasn't a dendro effect on his head before you applied pyro, so nothing reacted. He couldn't tell us the fake heist because Paimon is... very smart. The anemo sigil shop is limited. If you explore the whole of Mondtsadt, you would have far more than enough to buy everything. It is best to buy the gems at early levels since they are needed to ascend your characters. First ascension will increase max level from 20 to 40. You can get them from fighting world bosses but some of them are really far so it might be best to just buy them. Also good to buy the "Memory of Roving Gale" so you can unlock one of your Main Characters Constellation. Constellation is basically just power-up your skills. The "Northlander Sword Billet" is used to make a 4* craftable weapon from the blacksmith.

Hiya! Love your videos so i want to explain the wishing system a little bit. 3:22 Zhongli is a very powerful character that gives the strongest shield in the game. Tartaglia/Childe isn't really good for new players so that's a good choice Also, when you do 10 wishes (or pulls as we call it) you're guaranteed a 4 star character so try to do 10 pulls instead of one. It's kinda unlikely to get zhongli or any 5 star characters but it's still possible. I got zhongli in my second ten pull so yeah. Also the pity system. You're guaranteed a 5 star when you do 90 pulls. You can get them earlier. However, when you pull, not always you'll get a character from the banner. It's called a 50/50. You can either get zhongli, or some other 5 star character that is on *standard banner* (for example Jean, Diluc, Mona, Tighnari, Qiqi etc.) If you lose a 50/50 you're guaranteed to get a character from the banner (zhongli or tartaglia/childe) Now that you did a one pull, you have 1 pity so you need to do 89 pulls to have a guaranteed 5 star (as I've said, you can get them earlier) Another thing, pity from the standard banner **does not** count on the event character banner. So if you have intertwined fates (the blue ones) go for it and pull to your hearts content and don't worry about the pity on the event character banner. However I advise you don't spend primos on the standard banner since they don't give special characters (zhongli, tartaglia, venti etc.) The last thing I want to say isn't about wishing system. You can use domains as teleports if you've unlocked them. So if a domain icon is blue you can use it like a teleport. Hope this helps!

You got the prototype rancour sword from the AR lvl10 reward , its an amazing weapon for early game , and as you mostly use your aether for physical damage , I recommend maxing out the rancover to lvl 20 cause it does not take much resources. It will make your physical hits as powerful as element skills , I hope you invest into the rancour , its the best early game sword.

7:05 : you can only swirl Pyro, Hydro, Cryo and Electro! Geo is an "inactive" element, but it can react with the same elements Anemo does. Geo gives a shield when reacted. Dendro cannot be swirled, but it reacts with Pyro (Burning), Hydro (Bloom) and Electro (Quicken), which hae different effects. However, though swirl can technically affect multiple elements in the same time, If you have an entity on the field that swirls, eg. Aether's tornado ult, it can only take on the first element that it comes into contact with, Pyro, Hydro, Cryo and Electro. Any other elements interacting with that element will react in the same way as directly applying them. (eg. Pyro tornado ult in contact with Hydro slimes will produce Vaoprise, and also applies the damage of swirl on the Hydro Slime.) 22:26 : you may have been able to knock him just now! Using Charged Attacks on sword characters do the same thing as using Aether's skill. Sword character charged attacks push enemies of a certain size back a good amount. However, bigger enemies like Mitachurls or Ruin machines may not get pushed. Enemies that are shielded, like hillichurls with shields, also may not get pushed.

READ PLS~ here is some info about ascension and the Souvenir Shop:- so she sells stuff to help ascend characters, like the Crystal stuff “Silver” is used to ascend your characters letting them be able to level up from 20 to 40 then ascend again then you can level them up to 50 and you can get the silver from fighting certain elemental bosses to buying them from shops in cities. make sure to level up your characters you like more if you have enough, its VERY important. here is some important Info of Wishing Mechanics and banners:- so rn it is phase-2 of the 4.0 update after the count down of the banner is over it will be update phase-1 of update 4.1 (and it will be new character Wriothesley and VENTI! and in phase two it will be new character Nuevillette and Hu Tao) but that can be good to know to save primos to wish on the character you want by researching them. But on the topic of wishing mechanics, i wouldn’t buy any standard wishes, you can earn them easily from many things and it doesn’t have many great characters. You can get any 4 star characters and weapons and only a few 5 start characters and weapons, Qiqi, Jean, Diluc, Mona, Keqing, Tighnari, and Dehya. i would only wish on it if you have the standard wishes already. But on the Character Event Banners, if you pull a 5 star you have a 50% chance to pull the character on the banner or any of the 7 others i mentioned earlier or the few 5 star weapons. you are guaranteed to pull atleast one 5-star character in 90 wishes and 50% chance of it being the character you wish on, if its not then in 90 or less wishes you will get the 5 star character. there is a 0.6% chance of pulling a 5 star character or weapon at all, and a 5.1% to pull a 4 star item and its guarantied in a 10 pull. About the Weapon Banner- the two 5 star weapons are just the signature weapons for the two 5 star character banner at the time and the thing on the bottom corner is just the mechanism for pity on it which i don’t really understand too well but i know its very similar to character pity. (I hope my horrible explanation helps and if i missed any other important info someone tell me!) :)

Here's a tip for wishing! If you go to the shop and go to paimon's bargains, you can convert starglitter and stardust into wishes and other materials. Primogems don't have to be converted, and even if you don't have any fates, as long as you have enough primos, you can just click the 10 or 1 pull button and it will work. Some pros and cons for Zhongli, if you actually pull him. Pro: he is one of the best shielders in the game Con: you will never be able to dodge again and you will forer be forced to use him or else risk knockback like you've never known. Bonus tip: you can press L to go directly to party setup screen, and C to view character menu.

you can level every character up to lvl 40 min. it gets more expensive after but lvl 40-50 is fine, you get enough materials if you do daylie leylines. and after some time you can choose your main characters and level them up more. I have every character at max level and some at 80 (lvl 90 is max) so its not impossible but it takes a lot of time.

You can roll/wish on banners by a) going into paimon’s bargains tapping with primogems and use the PINK fates as you have a higher chance to get the character on the banner so you can use primos you can tap the wish ten button aswell and it will tell you”do you want to use 1600 primogems?” Or if you do a single wish button it will ask “do you want to use 160 primogems?”

new tip: you can actually teleport to domains and ruins like teleport waypoints, so if theres a quest near a domain but far from it's closest waypoint you could teleport to the domain. another tip: aether's elemental skill can be held. you hold the E button and it does more damage. you wasting noelle's ultimate made me cringe so hard 💀 when you use her ultimate, you (noelle) gets a long sword which does more damage than her normal attacks.

Don't forget to check your mail every time it has something new in it!! The game sends you free stuff surprisingly often like gifts on the characters' birthdays or your real birthday, new food recipes, Mora for surveys or reminders when events are ending soon, or primogems as compensation for glitches that have been fixed or for when the servers go down during updates! X)

Exploration episodes are fine, we don't mind. Genshin is all about being distracted, it's part of the charm you could say Also, you can buy everything from the anemo sigils shop and still have a lot of sigils left. After you bought everything from the shop you can exchange them for mora. Don't hesitate to spend them, it's their only purpose Zhongli is the best shielder in the game. He also can decrease enemies' resistances to all the elements and his ult does a lot of damage while petrifiying enemies for some time. He's easy to build, as his best weapon is a 3* hp polearm called Black Tassel. Unless you want to build him as a dps or something. Support characters are actually more valuable in genshin than dps. Like, the top 10 most used characters in the Abyss list consists almost entirely of supports. Zhongli is among them Tartaglia is a great character, and actually is the core of one of the most overpowered teams in the game. But his mechanics are kinda difficult for new players, because if you don't use him right his E cooldown will be horribly long. I recommend doing character trials in the event menu (compass icon). They allow you to try the characters that are currently on the banners and give rewards upon completion Two quests you saw earlier are related to the area called Dragonspine. It's quite challenging for new players, but I would love to see you try to do them.

When it comes to how primogems are used, I would suggest to simply look in the ingame shop menu, where you can see how they are used. Even if you don't want to do anything with them yet, it might clear things up about how exactly they relate to wishes. I think seeing the logic ingame is usually easier than trying to understand an explanation from a comment.

Honestly love your videos on Genshin and i'm glad you are still quite impartial ( not swayed by long time players) yet 😅. Advices : Barbara's Q doesn't apply hydro ( water) on ennemies, i've noticed you tend to use it a lot when your whole party is at full HP. Her burst is a quick heal for the whole team, that's it. Also i don't know if you've noticed that Noelle's skill (E) gives a shield .. you seemed enthousiatic to have a cristallized shield after using her burst but never used her skill. It's a quick tap on E and switch to your dps so it might be quite useful if you don't want to get staggered as much or lose HP.

I strongly suggest you to level up your characters (a good lvl for ar 10 is 20) also always remember to level your weapons (only level weapons that are 3 star or higher since the atk you get from them is very important) Also concentrate on 4 character to level up which you want to use in the future (i suggest xingqiu and fischl) When you fall from a high place, click the button for attaking, it makes you plunges which allows you to fall more without taking damage

Combat tip: Anemo mc's e skill has a longer version where you hold your e longer and it "infuses" your wind rasengan into the nearest element (someone here please tell me the infusion priority thanks), allowning you to deal even more damage Also theres only 4 swirlable elements with anemo, which are hydro, cryo, pyro, electro. Mastering Elemental reactions definitely will take time considering one of the elements ( Dendro ) have an encyclopedia of reactions. Here's a general idea as a day one genshin player elemental reaction tier list in the early game in a dps perspective depends on what characters you have as well for efficiency. (Good luck on future Artifact Grinds and pulling for characters !) ive been binge watching these anddd just a few things of note: leveling up your characters is really helpful, especially at these early stages, and like when you asked what the drops (hilichurl marks for example) were for, they can be used to level up talents too! among other things ley line blossoms respawn , there will always be some, because resin is what usually runs out, but resin can also be used for farming domains which you will prob do later, dont worry too much about it now, blue ley lines give you the little papers with adventurers experience, and are used for leveling up you characters, and i heavily reccomend leveling up your characters to at least lv 20 (you get a wish when you ascend to level 21) idk if someones commented this but barbara's Q heals everyone (you can read what everyones Q and E does in their character screen, talents) also someone has probably said this but primogems buy wishes (fates), you can do it directly in the banner by clicking the wish or wish x10 or in the shop in the part called paimons bargains and its way better to wish in 10s, bundles, way luckier, youre guaranteed a 4 star in every 10 pulls but may get more, and one 5 star in every 90/100 wishes but will probably get it earlier, so yeah, thats pity, the ammount of wishes you have before pulling a 5 star AND SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT, YOU CAN WALK AWAY FROM FIGHTS, enemies will chase you but only for a certain period of time, you can evade them, and like the eye of the storm last episode, you could teleport away then come back with a different team or ressurected team. the little thingies you couldnt catch and marked on your map also last episode, if you get three of them, they create a wind current so you reach the wind rings and for geo(also last episode), you need the E to create the elemental reaction, with most characters, their normal attacks dont create elemental energy, only catalyst (books, ex barbara) or charged arrow shots (like amber)

If you find yourself climbing and not having enough stamina to climb the last bit, while climbing you can go to bag and eat specific food that gives you more stamina. (The ones with that yellow little person on the left top.) That way you won’t fall down and lose all your climbing progress! (Also I absolutely love your video’s, they make me so happy and I’m always so exited to watch them :))

I only bring this up since October is next month. The starglitter shop allows you to buy character constellations for masterless starglitter now you will naturally get more characters as you summon but Kaeya, Amber, and Lisa have the unique situation of ONLY being on the Standard Banner, they are not even on Noelle’s Beginner Banner. However every October/April Amber will be available in the starglitter shop, November/May is Lisa’s turn, and last but certainly not least December/June for Kaeya. Again you can summon them on the standard but as they never get rate ups their constellations have to compete with every other character on standard which gets new four stars added to it every time a new one is released so their chances get lowered so they have the rarest constellations in the game if you don’t buy them from the shop. Food for thought.

You can swirl 4 elements - pyro, hydro, electro and cryo. That excludes geo and dendro, those can't be swirled. You can increase the damage from reactions by increasing your elemental mastery stat with artifacts. If you think swirls are overpowered, just wait until you get into dendro reactions 😅

for characters you'll keep using in late game, Fischl and Xingqiu are both strong contenders, along with the main character (dendro version). You can make a Hyperbloom team, the damage of hyperbloom scales with a characters level and EM. The character that triggers hyperbloom is also always electro. (Hydro + Dendro = Dendro Core) (Dendro Core + Electro = Hyperbloom) (Hyperbloom is like a homing missle that auto targets enemies and damages them)

Simply get "elemental mastery" from weapons and artifacts, and a higher character lvl to do more dmg with it 8:45 There are 65 anemoculi in the mondstadt region, and plenty more of different elemental oculi in other regions, you'll have plenty of exploring to do later on! FYI : the Anemoculi and Geoculi are the only 2 types of oculi that increase your stamina when given to a statue of the seven. 12:05 Those world quests involve exploring dragonspine, it's a higher difficulty area with the "extreme cold" effect. If you do go exploring it, be sure to bring a pyro character and stick close to heat sources or you'll die quickly. 20:50 If you ever can't find a quest location, check under your minimap. Under the quest description it will show you how far you are from it, and if the location is "Higher" or "lower" than you are. 26:50 A ruin guard is a formidable enemy early game, but they have a weak spot. Most constellations are gotten by wishing and getting a duplicate of a character you already own, but aether gets his from story and exploration), and a "northlander sword billet" which is used to craft a 4star sword at any smith, such as Wagner. The "iron sting" craftable sword has the "elemental mastery" substat I mentioned in the first section, so would make a perfect fit for your swirling anemo traveler.

Noelle Tip: Her burst can enhance her basic attk with a wider range and geo infusion, its bet to use it with her shield active since her C1 triggers her healing everytime. Its also good to use just activate her shield if you want to try to fight against alot of enemies just so that you don't get interrupted by enemies while you use your skills against enemies

tip!! In the character menu, there’s a section called Talents. if you take some time to read about each character’s E & Q (skill & ultimate) it’ll be really helpful! it explains things like hold vs press, or what attributes (HP, ATK, Elemental Mastery, Crit Rate, Crit DMG) help boost your E or Q. for example, the higher Barbara’s HP, the more she heals! so when you do want to start focusing on artifacts, make sure you check their talents. an HP boosting artifact that’s helpful for one character might be completely worthless on another. Edit: & weapons enhance attributes too, like you saw with Harbinger of Dawn!

Every nation you go to has different statues. Each nation’s statues gifts the specific element the region represents to the traveler/ main character. For instance, once you unlock Liyue statues you’ll get the geo element for the traveler. The same goes for all of the nations. That’s why lvling up the traveler is a good option, since you‘ll be able to switch elements later on the more you explore.
