the slidy hatch is the wrong way in , that slot in there is for the periscope aiming devise of the main gun , thats why its slidy , so you can aim it left and right

And the sliding "hatch" isn't a hatch it's for the gun sight that protrudes out of the fighting compartment. It's this way so that the gun can traverse from side to side, where a fixed sight will not do any good.

My Father, when he was alive, built model kits. His focus was on WWII ARMOR, tanks mostly. Each one would take approximately 6 months to build. He researched each one through all available sources and then added parts and modified the tanks accordingly. He even chopped the soldiers bodies apart to get them to sit, stand or load/fire weapons. I remember he even split the fingers apart and had some smoking cigarettes! We still have them in display cabinets. He entered them at the local Fair a couple times, winning Best In Show for all models every time. He built an Elefant Tank, that's what made me think of it. Thanks for the memories...

Medic wins the prize for owning the most man toys on the planet! I wish he was my neighbor. Hey there is an idea. A gated community for RC hobbyists only. HEAVEN. Can you imagine the daily carnage?
@tracyd47746 жыл бұрын
Instead of golf course. Housing built around race parks, lake and air field. Oh YEAH. We make our own Home Owners Association rules. Rules like... you must have been seen with RC models in your driveway at least once a week. Your grass must show signs of RC mayhem. Window unit AC always welcome. Project vehicles must not litter drive for more than 3 months. Fuckin aye!

You Boyz are doing a amazing job. My son and I are extremely excited every time we watch the videos. And the lil tedious filing that Krazy Joe, Mike and Brad did is outstanding. Steve and Rook great job on the motors wiring and smoke tubing. And Medic thank you for filming. Keep up the great work Boyz can't wait till it's all said and done.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think you guys should have put some sort of grease on the gears when you put the motors in. I've been watching a guy named oddball759 mm. He does commissions and pretty much his whole channel is armortek tank builds and he strongly suggest that the gears from the motors to the final drives and the final drives themselves should have some grease in them.

Hey Medic, huge fan for years. You should do a family video where you, Jem, and your son all go out and run a trail together. True family RC! Also I would like to recommend a product to you. SMC Racing Lipo Batteries. Most batteries just display C ratings witch studies have shown to be innaccurate and exaggerated. SMC puts the actual, TRUE amperage rating right on the battery pack. Very affordable as well, 4S 7400 mAH 90C 149 Amp battery goes for just $80. Truly powerful batteries for very reasonable prices. Ive been running them for years. Just had my 2S lipos from them puff up and die after more than 4 years of running weekly. Worth every penny and more.

I believe the old 12 inch long "Action Man/GI.Joe" figures from back in the day were suppose to represent a 6ft tall man at 1/6th scale or there about's, in case you want to add a crew member to the Elephant. Seen a few other Armortek builds using them as crew with hand made uniforms. Fantastic build and friendships with this anniversary build. 👍
