@Eugene the Pershing or Super Pershing was as well. The IS-2 may have been strong but it took forever to reload. It used a separate charge and shell like artillery. So it took a while to shoot, they had to lower the barrel to reload.

That one Tiger looks to be much larger than 1/6th scale (totally awesome btw). The M5 Stuart next to it should be about the same height if they are both 1/6. But, being an owner of a large scale R/C Tank, they are ALL freakin' awesome! I love pushing the furniture around the house with it. The wife is not so excited, I don't know why.....

Okay here me out, if these were say made if the same materials as their larger counterparts and say had the respective thickness if that armour but in 1/6th scale and has, well i dont know maybe a 22 lr cannon? Would love to have one... or ten but man are they pricey$ I was Tanker in the U.S. Army from 1977-1980, M60A1, from Driver to Tank Commander and section sergeant. that these tanks broke down a lot is a myth!. like a lot of things you hear now about ww2 are a myth, you must not forget its the winners who write history, that does not mean it is all true!. i mean take the T 34 for example, hailed as this great new tank, yet by all accounts it was rubbish, when it rained the rain w9ould go through the big gaps in the armor and the crew would get wet, the tank did not even have a radio and the russians still used flags to communicate, now those are facts, but do you ever hear anything else but "the t 34 was a great tank" a other myth is that the T 34 was the first with sloping armor, no it was not!, plenty of ww1 tanks had sloping armor!.

G'day, My thoughts, prezactly...; without a doubt, do away with all those faked "Strafing-Run" setups at Displays, just put these little Tanquies out on the Grass to clank about going in circles & figure-8s, while the Typhoons and Tempests fly Circuits and fire pairs of little Roquetlets, based on "A"-sized Estes Model Rocket Engines... Possibly a .22 Calibre Ratshot Shell in the Nose of each unguided Rocket, self-detonating on-impact, would suffice to prove any Hits achieved on the Clankclankclank Brigade by the little R/C Brylcream Boyz....; yes ? On the Challenger tank, do they have a stabilizer on the gun? It would look way cool, when moving, if they did. A tank with a gyroscopic stabilization on the gun kit, just looks better when it’s moving. Either way, great job on the builds.

As cool as RC aircraft are, these have the advantage of not crashing and being destroyed if something goes wrong. 1/6 would be the way to go so action figures can crew them.

Do you mean 1/6th - If so here are a few companies that do: Field Of Armor (US) - this company has a fairly large array of both RC and Static 1/6 scale models. www.fieldofarmortanks.com/ Armortek (UK) - All metal RC 1/6th scale - probably the most accurate of these RC types, but also the most costly www.armortek.co.uk/ RC Tanks ru (Russian) - this company both 1/6th & giant 1/4th scale all metal RCs. www.rctanks.ru/ Mark 1 Models (UK) - I believe this is simply a UK import of RC Tanks ru mentioned above w/ both 1/6th & 1/4th. www.mark-1-tank.net/NewMark1/mark1tankhome.htm Dragon Models - these are static plastic models & they only have two types- the M4a3(105) sherman & Pzkpfw-II Ausf.B/C.
