As I have said before… Drew's technique is incomprehensible, effortless, and meticulous. His performance unfolds layers of expression-each note sings purposefully, and every phrase is shaped with an exquisite sense of musicality. And this recording is delightful! WOW!

I haven’t played the guitar for a long time. Nowadays, I play the organ and compose symphonic works. However, since I once played the guitar, my interest in the instrument remains. I’ve long since stopped viewing the guitar as a guitarist would; instead, I see it from the perspective of a musician and composer, shaped by thousands of hours of listening to instrumental recordings by outstanding performers on the violin, cello, piano, quartets, and orchestras. From my point of view, what Mr. Henderson is doing represents one of the highest achievements in chamber music. It far surpasses the shallow, business-promoted guitarists whose names flood every modern guitar festival. This is true art-serious and complete. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Henderson once again for the joy his recordings bring. One day, the guitar world will wake up and truly appreciate this. One day. Musicians like myself, however, have long recognized its value. Congratulations on yet another masterpiece.

As always, not a single unwanted noise in an extremely dificult piece, while played with soul and awareness. Very grateful for your videos, which have become a personal playlist. Tuning to 432 Hz for historical or spiritual reasons? 😉
@DrewHendersonGuitar2 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! My friend joked that the 432 tuning was to align our chakras. Although I don't really think too much about it, I just kind of prefer a lower tuned guitar, and I think this guitar sounds pretty good at 432. I like that it's a little bit more accurate to the time period, and easier to play! Sometimes 440 feels so stiff.
@hannesfisha84652 ай бұрын
It's a pleasure and of course I also want to praise your outstanding arranging skills! Very interesting to hear your impressions about 432 and I agree with you on 440. If you dive in that topic it get's controversial and I don't want to hurt anyone. You feel what you feel... All the best to you and your passion!
