America didn’t seem to appreciate Fergie at under 30. I don’t remember hearing all of Hey Mama, and in Where Is The Love? and Let’s Get It Started, she sings like one line. These are the only three hits that made the Billboard Year-End that Fergie was in that came out while she was under 30. Shut Up did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100 but was super popular worldwide. Don’t Phunk With My Heart came out the month after Fergie turned 30, and features her a lot more often than these three hits (in Hey Mama’s case, perhaps). This would make the year-end, as would many other songs she was in that came out since then. Wild Orchid did not produce a single Billboard Year-End hit. Had they done so, Fergie would’ve had year-end hits across three decades.

Then again, a lot of songs that came out when Fergie was 30 were actually recorded when she was in her 20s. They are kind of similar to A Little More Love by Olivia Newton-John, which came out when she was 30, but was recorded when she was in her 20s. And she seemed more similar to ON-J in her 20s than in her 30s. ON-J and Fergie and actually both had a #1 year-end hit at 34 years old. (Physical in 1982 and Boom Boom Pow in 2009, respectively)

I saw her live at some festival when i used to live in florida and she was so painfuly bad nobody even paid any attention to her singing. It was a huge huge space and people were very spread out you could just walk up to the stage and i went right up to her and she was very good looking but the voice was brutal. I felt bad for her actually but shes loaded so I'm sure it helps her cope

She’s a very nice young lady. And please enlighten us on a human that hasn’t made a mistake. It should never define a person. Ever. She’s now an excellent mother and always is helping other people. I’m sure she’s content in her life.
