the only time I use gasket goo is watered down with some thinners on water pumps that dont like to seal you only need a film of it for it to work not in gobs of it and work quickly so it works as a sealer, or get things remachined to fit ! grins

Yeah no need for it most times. boy do we see some messes from the silicone products.

I always have used oil on the gasket, with no problems, but that just me..!

G Day Steve, Yes very soon, the bloody dog must have a shifter to pee on it as it lives with the cap on.

hi lance removed trumped housing to replace lower bolt for linkage and found a bolt missing from crown wheel have looked every where and used a magnet around every and cant find it wondering have you came across this problem bbefore and if so where did you find it. any help would be great wonderful regards frank love your videos

They often come loose but it is usually still there from what I have seen.
