We replaced the pto completely with the larger size shaft so it can be used. Took the pump out too, found out it was well clogged even tho it worked. I'd say that front wheel will still wobble when u drive it. Taking a fergy for a spin up the road is enjoyable, anything more is not.

I drive my 135 and goldbelly all late spring and late summer and I love them without a cab, it can be colder, yes but the cabs never are the best and can be a pain, the only reason I live the cabs is the aspect of safety, many times I have clipped my leg on the tyre or rested my hand to far out to the left and be driving along only to have dust in the eyes. Nowadays I would say cabless is the better option, at least for >40 horsepower machines

We had a similar tractor as this and we had a very very small wheel seal leak on both sides that wreck the brakes. I would replace the axle seals if I was doing it. We also use to drill, tap and put a grease Zerk on the front hubs if it was possible to make sure they had grease. Why do you have one of the tires mounted with the tire bars reversed? That snap ring on the PTO is what I call a Jesus ring. When it comes off and flys I say Jesus where did it go. lol We have had water getting into the casing through the boot around the shift lever. Sorry for all the questions but I love your videos and how you explain everything so well. Thank you from the USA!!
@IFarmWeFarm
@IFarmWeFarm 2 жыл бұрын
Yes them axle seals can leak and destroy the brake shoes, not hard to fix though just takes a bit of time. Yes one tyre is on wrong, was like that when I got it but I’m not to bothered as we’ve a new set of wheels for it. Thanks lad 👍
