Ferguson tef20 will it start? ( AGAIN )

Over a year ago I got the old girl going again after being sat in the stable for way over 10 years. I went back to start it again a week later and it just would not fire up. There was no fuel going through it. It had been driving me mad thinking about it ever since so today I thought I’d have one more go at checking some things before coming to the conclusion that the injector pump had failed and it would need to be re built. After 30 mins of bleeding air out of most the fuel system she finally sprung back into life 👌🏻

The old Girl sounds well there, Having her under cover makes a hell of a lot of difference on the starting,! You have a early TEF there and in very tidy all up and in running condition, all she needs is a steam clean" and keep her in her working clothes,! Nice one and thanks for the share, 💯👌👍

Use Owatrol oil to preserve it I have on my Tef and it stops further rusting

A pressure wash and then a spray all over with diesel mixed with oil to halt the rust.

Press in excess fuel button before trying to start
