CELTA grad here! Pretty much that's exactly what I do with my classes. The feedback might be a bit different from my CELTA days and so is my class time, but I try to get some kind of feedback. Simple and to the point. That's what I like. I always allow for questions or concerns about the reading and vocabulary (or 'lexis' if you are using CELTA language).

That's a great question! It really depends on a number of factors. The primary question that needs to be answered is, what are the regulations in the country where you currently or plan to teach. A good idea would be to reach out to a school in larger city in the country where you teach and inquire what the regulatrions are. If they accept a TESOL course, or the particular certificate that you have, then I would say, there is no need per se to do CELTA. However, if you are interested in the professinoal development aspect of doing and gaining greater recognition, then I would say it may still have some value for you. On the other hand, if you are starting out and you are thinking about potentially teaching in more than one country then, in that case, CELTA is usually the safest bet. That is because it is almost universally accepted as a certification requirement to teach English in most locations worldwide.
