Fermin is the guy Xavi tried pedri to make like carry the ball, shoot, score but pedri just couldn't do it, it's acceptable some players are just not made for scoring they would rather create the goal scoring chances both are great at their respective roles in the team

I’d be shocked by the foolery of laporta, he might opt to get rid of Fermin for another 90 year old midfielder or striker. What Barca needs is to find a different identity to use players who are goal hungry like Fermin. Very unpredictable and can make opponents confused hence opening or creating opportunities for his team mates to find space and end the game

He can hopefully develop into what Bellingham is at Real Madrid. Valverde does this as well. You need midfielders with different skill sets. Same with the DeJong haters.... when Modric or Kroos come on, they bring something different on the pitch. That's why you need a DeJong too.
