@Lachlan You were great! I'd never ever have the guts to swim in water that cold OR be interviewed, so I think you're quite brave. Cheers from an American

She seems absolutely delightful and I can so relate to her cuz I'm neurospicy myself
@DokkaChapman Жыл бұрын
Seeing Fern demask and have a "normal" chat with another neuro-spicy was so wholesome. I act similarly around my mates who are also on the spectrum. The lil stims, talking over one another as we bounce from topic to topic, infodumping in places and always looking around. It's always good to find someone you're on the same wavelength with. :)

I've never enjoyed watching somebody on Taskmaster more, even though she was up against Sarah Millican and Dara O'Brien, she gave it her best Even though she was sleep deprived from over excitement the night before filming

It's cool Ivo, you're not gonna get "cancelled" in a lake. The only kind of "culture" you'll have to worry about is the variety of biological ones you'll definitely be walking away with as a souvenir by the looks of the color of that water

Are eels a fish or a snake?
@Saluno3752 жыл бұрын
Fish :)
@rasmusn.e.m1064 Жыл бұрын
A good rule thumb is: An eel is a fish shaped like a snake, A snake is basically a lizard shaped like a worm, A slow worm is just a lizard shaped like a worm, A caecilian is an amphibian shaped like a worm, A worm is anything but the above shaped like a worm, Except a sausage and anything that has never been alive.

I totally understand the sensory issues caused by the clingy, un-breathable wetsuit. but then why did Fern choose what's basically just like a wetsuit as her Taskmaster outfit ??
@Rye404 Жыл бұрын
Difference in fabric and stretchiness. The wetsuit has super thick and stiff material, like you've got the skin of a walrus. Her Taskmaster outfit was more like shiny sports leggins. Thin, a lot more breathable, stretchy. The Taskmaster suit fabric moves with the skin, wetsuit fabric rubs against it (so there's a lot more sensory stuff going on). My credentials: I'm autistic, love sports leggings but wetsuits or skinny jeans make me want to skin myself so I don't have to feel them anymore

When it’s wet it sorta sticks to you, feels horrible, can’t really explain it
