Really spectacular video. Somehow I never really paid that much attention to Fern as I've watched the show; putting it all out on the table is super interesting and like you said, just makes me appreciate the show and its incredible writing that much more.

Oddly, I think a major, consistent theme of this show is obsession and how it can take people to such dark places, along with the ways that some characters get out of those places. The Lich, the Ice King, Simon, Finn on occasion, PB more than once, and a few I’m probably forgetting all struggle with and succumb to various obsessions, and the characters who live the least fraught lives are always those like Jake, who are better at accepting things as they are and not fighting past the point that becomes self destructive. The whole kicker for the pillow fort episode was Finn thinking to hard about his relationship, to the point that he got genuinely depressed over a single flubbed joke.

You know what would’ve been a really interesting concept, if you’re a Godzilla fan you know how in Godzilla versus mothra battle for earth, at the end of the movie when Mothra flies into outer space Godzilla’s DNA gets sucked into a black hole and it creates space Godzilla, OK so what if they did the samething here, what if when Finn’s dad went through the portal to outer space, Finn’s severed arm that was holding on drifted off into outer space and went into a black hole and created some evil space clone of Finn, and it went to earth to find and destroy the real Finn. Bro in my opinion that would be so awesome.

You know I always wondered why didn’t take Jake just find some of that guardian blood and rub it on Finn’s arm so his arm could regenerate I mean you seen how the blood regenerated his dad leg so I think the writers did in fact think of doing this, but they went in a different direction

Just thinking about that the fact that the demon sword broke as a result of Finn’s actions with Flame Princess and Ice King, Ice King staying with Finn and Jake after FP destroyed the Ice Kingdom and then messing around with Abracandaniel to summon Kee-Oth….
