It is not necessary for God to come down to the planet surface to fight when he can kill you from beyond orbit. There is no Bat-Plan that could stop Superman from pushing Earth out of it's stable orbit, Pushing the moon into the earth, I could go on and on. In real physics... Heat Vision can't miss. It's moving at light speed and it heats what he sees. You can't dodge that. I see you dodging and you are still cooking. The time frame for terminal heat death at those temperatures are instantaneous. A human brain would be dust before being able to react to what you thought was about to happen. Batman is a more likable character for most people because they think money can solve any problem. It can't... I have plenty of money. Most people that are broke love him. Most people that are scientifically based in thought know Superman is unmatched on multiple levels he controls 4 universal forces.

That's the problem. Atom *is* the last resort. In a field of options numbering exactly *two.* Once upon a time, they could have just pushed the big red button and dropped a pellet of gold kryptonite into the super-cell. But that was a couple of universal resets ago when there actually *was* such a thing as gold kryptonite. So, is Ray Palmer supposed to live inside Superman's brain from now on? If they leave the kryptonite sliver in place, it will slowly poison and eventually kill Superman. If they remove it, he will rapidly heal and be a threat again shortly. What happens when Palmer's bladder or bowels become full? What's he supposed to eat? He needs to sleep sometime. What if the Kryptonian white cells show up while he's taking a nap? Batman came up with this brilliant idea, but he didn't really think it through, now, did he?

One of the biggest reasons I like Batman is in this scene. He knows that Superman could really kill him pretty much instantly, but he still comes to him face to face. Say what you will about plot armor and all this yada-yada. Batman knows that the only potential way to get through to him is to look him in the eyes for real. See what used to be two friends truly see what the other is thinking from the way they move their face and their eyes. How they raise their brows and how they clench their jaw. They see everything and even knowing all the danger, Batman still thinks it is important to be level with him.

I have a lot of questions... So after so long in the red sun radiation he was still this strong. Okay, I'm not complaining, but then he is that slow?? Next, unless the atom's pouch was made of lead, how did he not feel/hear his presence (enhance senses) and the kryptonite? Being weakened by the RSR, He should be able to feel the presence of kryptonite no matter how small it is. A LOT of writers forget, that Superman should technically be stronger than even strong males at their peak. Maybe even "bane" strong, because of his muscle density and cell structure. Kryptonians are used to kryptons gravity and the yellow sun keeps his body at peak levels.

There were two scary aspects of this scene. One, as someone else on here pointed out already, it shows how scary Atom can be. And two, it's scary to think of this. Consider if Superman actually existed in our world and he resorted to becoming a tyrannical, murder-happy monster like in Injustice. The scariest part about this aspect.... is if his red-solar lamped prison cell went dark and he actually was able to walk right out.

Kryptonian cells are quantum singularities, they absorb all radiation, gamma, yellow solar, blue solar and so on are positive while nuclear and green kryptonite rays are toxic. As for red sun rays they're too weak to activate the dormant kryptonian superpowers so when these quantum singularity cells are exposed to red sun rays they go into power saving mode automatically

Also Kryptonian physiology is another factor, krypton's atmosphere and gravity means 1. Kryptonians are a race who need less oxygen and are thus more energetic and explosive with earth's oxygen 2. Kryptonians have denser bones and can jump like 33ft in earths gravity without even using superpowers

Just want to point out for all those arguing "BuT hE CoUlD'Nt Do ThIS fOR tHE JoKEr", he shouldn't fucking have to. The Joker should've been condemned or executed when his kill count started reaching double digits, or when he broke out three or four times in a row. Batman, in a *normal* setting, would work. Turning lunatics into the law, that *would* work. But it would be a very boring story, and they would have to constantly make up supervillians since literally everyone Batman's fought against has gone on a massacre at some point that would easily be enough to warrant a death penalty, even in places where that's very a squeamish punishment rarely given. So yeah, what he's doing here makes since. Since *technically*, it's what he would've done to any of the super villians he's imprisoned over the years if HE were the one imprisoning them.

I’m not even sure how Atom knew enough about kryptonian physiology that he was sure that stabbing kryptonite right into Clark’s brain wouldn’t give him some kind of super mental disorder. I've seen some people talking about how batman was cruel to do this to superman while he treated the joker in a much better way,and while I understand these people points and I kinda agree with them in a certain way I think that they are missing a point here. The absolute worst that the joker did (at least in the injustice universe) was to nuke a city, he defined this action as his "masterpiece" meaning that this was the very worst he could do. Do you understand my point? The worst Joker could do was destroying a city. Superman is a global level threat. *Batman knows how to behave when he's dealing with a murderous man and how to behave when he's dealing with a murderous god*
