I've never found minced lamb in a French supermarket even down South which I have always thought is quite odd considering a lot of Moroccan cuisine is available along the coast. You can however buy it in most boucheries and it's called hache d'agneau

There are some rude and unkind comments on this thread, how about you people, yes you know who you are! try harder to start this new year on a kinder note. Remember, you are receiving something for free, try at least to be grateful, or perhaps start up your own channel if you believe you can do better.

Great video! Love seeing what you buy at the shops there! Be careful of store-bought nut milks, Fern. They often have seed oils in them which are very inflammatory

It is not necessary to refrigerate eggs. They are sold on the regular shelf here in Finland.
@SindyBoyle2 күн бұрын
We don't have to refrigerate eggs in UK, they are sold on regular shelves in the shops. They weirdly wash the egg shells with some sort of anti bacterial substance before selling them in USA which removes the natural anti bacterial coating, as a result they have to keep them refrigerated. They also sell bread that never seems to get mouldy over time and last's forever, I didn't trust that at all.

Hi guys, love going shopping with you. I’m intrigued by your chick pea topping tell me more. I usually use corn flour ( maïzena) for my béchamel sauce as it is so light ! As people have said veau is veal. I have never seen minced lamb ( agneau anywhere), it would be great for meat balls, moussaka and shepherds pie, if you discover it somewhere please let us know. Have a great week Weston Bennetts!

Happy New Year Fern! Enjoyed this vlog so much as I am living my French life vicariously through you right now as our move is on delay much due to my indecision and procrastination about moving to Paris or to the Riviera. Fern or any viewers out there please help me a little by giving me your input if you would. I wish we could afford a place both on the Côte d’Azur and in Paris. Love from across the Atlantic…

I'm intrigued to know what Fromage Blanc is and if we have an equivalent in the US. How do Ryan and Seth eat it? From what I read, it's most like yogurt? I love your health and fitness vlogs. You and Ryan are very motivational. Please keep inspiring me - I need the help! Love how they have paper bags for produce rather than plastic

Good afternoon,indeed the pace of January is so different ! The packaging of much of the items you select is so different to our shops. We have terrific Canadian beef. There are so many alcohol producing companies in North America that are turning their products into non-alcoholic. It's a trend. The choice of non-alcoholic wine 🍷 is really big now.(I am looking out on yet another dump of snow 🌨️. They predicted it would be a very cold ,snowy winter. It would be so good if we could share some of the moisture with California. ( I am wondering if your friends in LA were affected by those terrible fires 🔥 🚒? To loose everything in such a sudden terrifying manner is life changing. One really has to try to appreciate every day in itself. To take nothing for granted.) I am impressed amazing choice of really different dairy items. I have never heard of sheep's milk. Interesting. I love dates. Have you ever had them stuffed with blue cheese? Yum . I love chicken livers fried in herbed butter.(Garlic powder, 🧄 onion powder or grated red onion, nutmeg, thyme, paprika, black pepper, marjoram.) I still want to make some antipasto soon. I really do feel sorry for people I have no interest in cooking. It's so much super interesting combination with your lamb mints. Nutmeg and cinnamon. That looks wild Fern! Great new recipe to try. Moussaka. I have never had chickpea flour. Very different most impressive. Good formula for a wonderful hot chocolate. Peace 🕊️🙏❤

Seems like food prices are good where you are. We’re experiencing high egg and beef prices in California. I wish our organ meat was better 😢 Please share your mined( ground) lamb recipe ❤Never mind I see it at the end but if you have any other ideas for ground lamb I would appreciate the recipe ❤ Measurements for your lamb meat casserole? How many eggs etc.?

That would be about $400 worth of food in America right now. The last time I went grocery shopping I got hamburger meat and hot dogs was the only two meats I got and other items and it was $255! It's outrageous in America and that was at Walmart with shity food. America's food is truly poisonous. And I challenge anyone in America to prove me wrong.
