Those particular metal tubes are called insulated ferrules or wire/boot ferrules and are often used for capping cables and wiring. THere's the non insulated kind which don't have the plastic bits on the back end but yeah. They make great shapeable cutters. Thanks for sharing this video!! Are you using Sculpey clay or another type by chance? Gonna share your video on a polymer clay discord as I think some other newbies could find your technique useful!
