the classic repot drama sequence of events 6:36 : butter knife activation 6:44 : root-bound official diagnostic 6:55 : sudden realization that it is a 2 person job but alas, you are alone 7:30 : panic settling in 7:57 : existential reassessment 8:13 : AC support required (also, going beyond the fear of audio disaster) 8:30 : telling your inner self --- this IS a workout... no need to go to the gym today 9:07 : movement begins / "there is hope" 9:18 : *gentle violence & minor damages 9:50 : physical pain 9:55 : water [ or "plan B"] 10:15 : _defeat_ 10:26 : switch of position to use feet & arms ["plan C"] (at this point, video is the least of your worries) 10:51 : more serious verbal threat to plant 11:11 : success! 11:20 : observation that the repot could have been done earlier 🤔 11:52 : having a drink

I'm a huge fan, and have gone to you and a few others for the care of mine, which has given struggles. Fortunately, mine is thriving now. So, thanks for posting your journey with your Thai Constellation it was a huge help to me. I can't believe I've been watching you this long and haven't commented before. Love this post.❤

I want to take a moment to thank you for helping me with my hoya. While they were meh'ing in my new hoya mom care, only 1 was pushing out new growth. Dave @SoberPlantGuy had once mentioned cutting up the plant to encourage new growth and you mentioned going back to Miracle-Gro as a fertilizer. So I did both. 😁 Fast forward a couple of weeks, and 12 of my 17 newish plants are acting much happier. The 18th one decided to "exit, stage left" last week, but it never seemed to be even putting out more roots. Thanks again and good job persevering with the repot. 🎉❤

I have moved my monstera Thai recently and have her a new pot! I got mine for my 29th birthday last year and she was just a little baby. Now she has leaves bigger than my head! I’ve been in the same predicament because I need a new light source. I’ve been thinking about getting a floor lamp with adjustable heads and putting in grow lights and angling them to give them the most consistent light. I have a small space so trying to fit all my plants inside is a challenge! Lol

Another thing for the Future Fern. You could have cut off the bottom part of your roots to fit into your plastic pot rather than putting into the green colored pot if you wanted to stay in the “clear pot”. I had to make that decision when potting mine up and she’s thriving.
