As a veteran myself and a son a battle field medic , I just love this band and everything they stand for , The working and lower middle classes fight the wars for the rich and powerful,, we serve but the cost is high the dreams last forever See you guys in Bournemouth in November

Fair play buddy. I'm not in your company but that doesn't diminish the appreciation. Ferocious Dog give us all that sense of honesty and decency. Sadly for Ken it took his Son, Lee. It's the brave young men like him we should NEVER forget or neglect.

As a veteran this song pulls deeply at the heart and resonates with so many who are forgotten when they return from a conflict zone. As Adam Martin quite rightly stated we the working class fight the wars the politician instigate through there inability to resolve things peacefully. Thank you for this amazing song and all you do to raise awareness.

This is superb. The finest tribute to those who are the living victims of wars. Very heartfelt lyrics from a man who has tragically had to live with the consequences. My son almost joined up and I could be trying to deal with what Ken has to deal with. Today my Grandson is a year old. I'm so lucky.

I could feel the pain of loss when i first heard this song on ... i really don't knowanymore,. But it was after a friend mentioned 'Ferious Dog'. It took a wee bit of time to c u live @ WilleEeen in Arnhem. That was in 2016/17. It was a great gig. It'd be great to have u back in the Netherlands, preferably in Nijmegen. Now something complety different:. it was Monthy, who was responsible for, u know whatt. Taking into account all that it've read and seen sofar, incl. Antony Beevor's 'The battle of Arnhem'. A request to be a bit more critical, than lyricall, where Sir Monthgommery is concerned, should - i think - not to be much to ask. Maybe i've written this before. Be that as it may., Life is hard. Which ever way our children may choose to go (if it can be their own choice, as in: off their own will), let's try and keep 'm safe.

I've only seen you live once and it was at Solfest 2021. Fuck me this Paddy loved it. Born in Belfast, raised in Co Down and finally realised who I was when I moved to Kendal. Slainte. Agus pog mo thoin. Don't get me wrong I'm not for the Queen, The Cause or The Union. I'm for people tat have questioned who they are and this song speaks to them.
