I'm kind of confused by the whole "You're just going to sell it when you're done" comments that are mentioned. If Wizard does the car up to a reliably running, presentable state and then decides to take the option to double his money or more, that's entirely Wizard's choice. Sounds like petty jealousy to be honest. I'm really glad the car is getting some TLC, I honestly expected it to give up completely during the trip in Car Trek 4, so it's earned the work, and regardless of whether it's kept or sold on, it'll be in a much better state than when it first graced our KZbin Algorithm.

yes because old school engineers didn't feel the need to improve something to the point it's useless. They realized that at some point work will need to be done and instead of making it next to impossible to do, they made it easy. For eg: ford eco boost 3.5L where the water pump, a regular fail item, is located inside the timing cover behind the timing components so when the seals go, it dumps coolant into the oil pooching the engine.

The factory AC is not good but a vintage air would actually work well. Vintage air would be out of place in this car I think. I would probably repair the AC just to have it but in my experience the windows are better than the AC, then again it could be the modern refrigerants just dont get as cold. Propane is really cold, more like freon, so that could be an option also.

I'm happy to see this 308 being treated nicely. It was on the fence of being a parts car and you are saving it.

@@ThomasSeeds Yup. I took that into the request. But based on his other videos, I'd like to see more of the Ferrari build because it's HIS car. Not Hoovies or a clients. It's his own personal project. And you have to agree, it's a Ferrari! His Ferrari.

Dear Car Wizard, Great stuff again! Always good to hear from you both Mrs Wizard's got a gem there - when I was on the Ferrari factory bus tour the guide said exactly what you said - Maserati engines are built at the same location as the Ferrari engines. Although it might be a little different from 2018 when I was there.

I'd love to see Larry from AMMO NYC do his own wizardry on this car.
@e1tuomas3 жыл бұрын
Agree! It kinda feels like Larry only does ultra-rares and THE DIRTIEST EVER cars on the video these days.

Enjoy it! You work hard and need to ignore the haters!!! Great job on the Ferrari work, I really am envious of your methodical approach to diagnosing and fixing your cars. Keep it up. Your videos are great.

yes you need to fix the ac. it sucks to have a car you love and it gets to hot out to drive it.
@webdevnoobie3 жыл бұрын
Yes, and he is gonna have to suck it up and get the spare tire too.

Rear engined and the radiator in the front - of course it's going to get hot inside the cabin! AC is essential...

I don't think the a/c in these things was very good even when the car was new

The dizzy delete makes this engine look so nice. And great job on those refinished valve covers!
