Ferrari 488 GTE Onboard Lap - Monza ELMS 2022

Onboard footage from the 3rd round of the 2022 European Le Mans Series in Monza, Italy. Viewers with a good eye will probably be able to spot the strange downshifts in the second chicane. In practice and the race, the gearbox randomly missed a few downshifts in the first and second chicane, at ascari and parabolica. On this lap it was the second chicane - when I clicked for the first downshift, nothing happened so I clicked the paddle again and it went through but it was delayed and ended up sounding very aggressive. Anyway this was the best onboard I managed to get. Tyres were 180km old so pretty tyred (excuse the pun).

sounds like the gearbox wasn't really responding normally especially at de la roggia, it went from 6-4 very quick. Nevertheless great content! love the consistent race week uploads
