Ferrari 488 GTE Onboard Lap | Paul Ricard 2022

A lap from FP2 during the first round of the 2022 European Le Mans Series at Paul Ricard. It was a bit of a messy session and this was my last lap of the day which came after a full course yellow and sitting in the pits. I went back out for one timed lap before pitting again so tyres temperatures were down and pressures were on the low side at around 1.6 bar. We were doing long runs so fuel was high and tyres were about half a stint old.
I did a new tyre run in FP1 but unfortunately the onboard camera didn't work! Anyway hope you find the video useful :)

man the bop really takes life out of these cars....not even reaching 280 km/h on such long straight.

Hi, since you've driven both the 488 GT3 and the GTE are there any major differences in the driving? maybe you need to adapt to another driving style etc.

Hi! I would say the 2 biggest differences are the lack of ABS and the higher cornering speeds. We're also running Good Year tyres in ELMS whereas last year we were on Pirellis.
